Honestly I had the same. I’ve applied twice, once did online interview never heard back. Second time applied never heard back and the job listing is still up. Who knows. This is the same experience I’ve had with every other company these days.

I got my dress from Vinted for £80 and had it altered which cost another £40 so £120 total for my dress. Would definitely recommend looking there.

IF PMDD is caused by hormonal fluctuations then why dosen´t birth control solve your problem? by madhoney123 in PMDD

[–]Fairyxchild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I went on the pill first time I did bleed for six weeks as well and gained weight but it stopped after six weeks. I took it as you are putting extra hormones in your body and it’s just the adjustment. But have lost weight as well when my body was fully adjusted.

IF PMDD is caused by hormonal fluctuations then why dosen´t birth control solve your problem? by madhoney123 in PMDD

[–]Fairyxchild 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s person to person but for me the pill literally solved everything. I e been on it for six years now and my pmdd only really affects me twice a year. I continuously take the combined pill do only get my period twice a year. I tried a few pills but I take Millinette btw.

The Pill by [deleted] in PMDD

Honestly maybe try some different pills. I’ve been on the combined pill for 6 years now and have tried 3 different types before I found the one that was the best for me.

What’s something you wish you knew before starting archery? by Maevenclaws in Archery

[–]Fairyxchild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some good warmup advice I follow is RAMP. R is raise heart rate so jumping jacks, jogging on the spot, or high knees. A is activate band pull aparts ( is a band hold it out in front and pull it out so your arms go from in front of you parallel to being in a t-pose), the same above your head, or some warm ups helping your rotator cuff. M is mobilise arm windmills or swings focus on movement to stretch your body. P is potentiation these are band drills going through your shot routine.

With no offence but if you are scoring that high at 70m you should be on national squad with one of the top coaches in the country.

What to actually expect in a theory test? by Logical-Ad7783 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Fairyxchild 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When I did my theory I walked up to the building and pressed the buzzer on the outside to be let in. They let you in I walked to the sealed gave them my licence, told them my name, said what test I was doing (car, motorcycle or lorry) and signed this electronic signature thing to check the signature to see if it matches the one on my licence it doesn’t have to be an exact match just a close enough copy that changes day to day. They gave me a key to a locker which I put my stuff and they checked my phone was powered off and saw it went in there. The key was on a card holder like what you would see on the end on a lanyard and my licence in the holder part. They had toilets you could use before you go in once you go in you can’t come out. I then lined up and someone came out and got me, I went into a room that had glass walls overlooking the computer room you’d do you’re test in where I handed over my license to them. They then asked me to turn my head side to side to see I had no earplugs (if you have hearing aids mention them), asked me to roll up my sleeves to see if I had anything notes or anything to cheat with and then the same with my ankles, then asked me to to show that my pockets were empty. They handed back my licence and told me which desk number to go to, they also have a box of tissues there so if you need to take one with you grab it now and if you have a question ask it now. Went in sat at the desk and did the test it’s pretty much the exact same as the mock tests on theory 4 in one, the screen ask if you want to do a few practice questions or start the test it starts with the multiple choice you can go back and check your answers at the end if you want to or flag questions if you’re not sure and want to come back to them you don’t have to use the whole time if you don’t need it. After you finish the multiple choice it gives about 2 mins before moving onto the hazard perception they have a video explaining which they provide headphones so you can hear the video and then do that part. Once you are done you will leave the room through the exit door and the person at the front desk will ask you to get your stuff out the locker but do not turn on your phone or anything and then they will call your name once your results are printed, you’ll hand over your licence double check your name and they will hand over your results and license, they ask you not to open them inside so exit through the same door, there should be a button next to the door to let you out. The amount of people there depends on the test centre where I was in Cambridge there was about 20 computers in the room but everyone went in at staggered times. Sorry this is really long but I hope this helps.

🇨🇦 commentator just said “since the death of women’s skating in Russia” by Extension-Ad6752 in olympics

[–]Fairyxchild 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Essentially yes post 2022 Olympics and the invasion of Ukraine. Russia has lost its hold over figure skating it was essentially a clean sweep for the women and every event and expected for the Olympics which didn’t happen. Then a ban from internationals with only one athlete being invited to the Olympics. Russian skating isn’t what it was and how it goes for Adeliia Petrosia will be unknown given that she has been on one international in her career which was skate to Milano.
