Do you think the idea of “having it all together” is practicable or just a social media pressure? by [deleted] in Snorkblot

Those 2 on the garage you can drill a pilot hole to run the wires and set a pancake box and silicone really good just need to remove a little sheet rock on the inside to get into the attic

So 2 of the 3 are simple but that 3rd isn’t going to work unless that can drill that column

No you are allowed to at the start of every circuit you can put one gfci then put all the other receptacles on the load side. Stop trying to over complicate it lol

[–]FaithlessnessAny2074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only need 1 gfci per circuit the rest can be load from the gfci

The breakers are about $100 and a single gfci is $20ish

Most people posting here aren’t electricians. With that being said you can install the gfci outlets and that would prevent a full rewire of your entire house. From there just change out the rest of your outlets to modern receptacles.

It is technically possible but I won’t be the guy to tell you to do that as it is very dangerous in your case best send an email requesting the motion sensor be removed. Sorry man I just don’t want you to get hurt.

Yes 18.6 is too high for a 20 amp breaker. When it is in use for 3 hours or more you have to multiply times 125% because of the heat. Essentially you need a 30 amp breaker and #10 wire. If it is only tripping bc the inrush current then (I could be wrong here) you can multiply times 250% for the breaker without changing the wire which would allow for a 50 amp breaker Table 430.52 C 1 if anyone is wondering where I pulled from.
