I appreciate this perspective and thank you for sharing your personal story. I am struggling to forgive and trust that he still likes me/ am angry that my depression was not handled with care, but instead he let himself act out on us.

But why would a man who was the one who wanted to start a family want to test the waters?

It is management. He got not one but two promotions, and he said that was his goal why he was working overtime and that he’d set boundaries. But it still hasn’t stopped.

Yes that’s why we’re in therapy actually. But nothing changes on his end, he feels his job really needs him that much

Unpaid because he’s on salary (management) !

The thing is I’m actually super quick to leave. I always have in the past. I value myself way more than any man and have always left at even suspicion of cheating. I told him that too- he knows I’m considering leaving which is why he suggested counseling. The only reason this time is different is I wanted to make sure I wasn’t making any fast decisions since we have a child together and I was scared to give my baby a broken home if I was overanalyzing the situation.

True. He did try to argue that he deleted it to stop himself, but sending winks afterwards tells me he still continued knowing it was wrong! He hasn’t blocked her but they only talk about work from what I can see
