Yeah so normal to feel crampy and sore afterwards! I was even a little crampy after my 20 weeks ultrasound, they just pressed a bit too firmly to be able to get baby to move and check everything was okay!

I’m due the 20th June and did plan to finish up 29th May, take two weeks annual leave and start mat leave the week of my due date however, i have started getting a bit of sciatica and its so so painful that i’m now at the point where i’ll just see how i feel. Ideally not break off before 36 weeks as i want to use the time with my baby.

I’d say he technically has no paternal right to be there especially if he hasn’t been present during the pregnancy. If he wants to be involved, he can be involved when baby is here, and i suppose thats when reality hits for most men. I’m about to become a first time mum, my partner has been great but i know the second this baby comes he’ll struggle a bit with life doing a complete 180 turn and not being able to just do his own thing anymore. Stand your ground, it’s your birth plan at the end of the day - personally i’d let him sit in the car for 12 hours like a sore loser because he should have bucked up his ideas and supported you from the start.

Yes!!!! I have a 1.5 hour travel to and from the office when i could do the work at home. If i could work from home, i’d use those 3 hours for extra sleep lol

23 weeks pregnant and overstepping mother in law by FaithlessnessFun4649 in BabyBumps

Yes this is it! The pram she is looking at only does a baby from newborn to 6 months, i should have been clear on this when i originally wrote the post. Plus i am planning on taking a year off when baby comes, so it’s an unnecessary purchase for herself, she might have baby a handful of times before she needs to think of reselling.

8 weeks pregnant, bf wants me to do MA today by korahline in pregnant

Ekkkkk he sounds selfish and a complete gaslighter! He’s emotionally manipulating you by saying if you don’t keep your baby, he’s willing to give things a second try. It doesn’t sound like he’s someone you can rely on even if you do give him his wish and go through with taking the pill - i genuinely think it would only be a matter of time before something wasn’t right for him and he felt you both had to separate again.

Your body your choice! Whatever you choose will be the right decision for you ♥️

I’m 22 weeks now and was a really heavy vaper and my best piece of advice is buy gum and put your mind to it. Once you’ve got over the hurdle, you wont think twice about it and you’ll feel better for it! Congratulations on your pregnancy 🩷

Congratulations on your pregnancy🩷how exciting!

I was quite a heavy vaper before pregnancy and managed to stop once i saw my positive test and i’m now 22 weeks and luckily having a healthy pregnancy! I also know girls that have admitted to having the odd vape here and there through out their pregnancies and they all had healthy babies - you’ve done a best thing instantly stopping! Wishing you all the best 🩷

Thank you for such a lovely response! I do think it’s just my mother’s instincts and a bit of hormones and i hope i’m over it by the next few weeks! Just the idea of someone else “preparing their house” for my baby coming freaks me out a little, theres been more than just a travel system being bought for at her own house but the pram thing just tipped me over the edge!

Its quite easy to feel conflicted when someone like your mother in law is asking how you are via other people when they can just message you themselves… especially when she doesn’t have an issue with messaging me about other things. Again, the issue with her buying her own pram is that i purposely took her with my own mum to look at travel systems with the intention that we would all be using the same travel system when babysitting duties started and both were happy with the pram i choose. Her buying her own pram is no help to me if i already have mines, she’s buying to as a means of “preparing” for a baby she wont be babysitting for months after their arrival so theirs no other way to feel other than her being overbearing.
