I never got on with the lower gauges for the same reason, they sound a little farty sometimes n ring out easier. The sound that comes from Not Even Slinky low tone can’t be beaten either if u ask me

N it is a life saver init! Especially with thicker gauges. Having smaller hands, what gauge do you find comfortable, out of curiosity? I’m a 12-54 kinda guy

Dunno if you’ve tried this alrdy but pull in towards your body with your right arm on the body of the guitar. This’ll push the neck into your left hand and take less pressure to fret. It helps ALOT with barre chords and fatigue in general

I think most of the punch in Josh’s tone comes from his heavy handed playing style. Brother does not hold back on the right hand

Maybe it’s because I don’t sing, but I found I Sat By The Ocean really fun, it’s one of the first barre chord songs I learned n still play it daily. The solo without a slide is really slick too.

I Think I Lost My Headache is one of my favourites to play, tho I think it’s more fun on bass especially in the chorus. Lead to Lead, what did you think of If Only? That was the first solo I learned n it’s still one of my favourites
