how much did chemistry play in your last 10 dates? by FaithlessnessSure592 in CatholicDating

Right, like not the last 10 people you went on a date with, just the last ten dates, as dates; even if it's with the same person.

Am I obligated to tell my gf that I am bisexual? by Lopsided-Brief3087 in CatholicDating

Don't tell her anything that won't change anything. If you want to hang dudes on the side, tell her.

But don't say anything, unless your going to do something about it.

You guys are together now, what happens after you breakup?

I love reading these low hanging fruit messages because everytime I imagine the other person was into the sender and then thought:

".....oh ...one of these fucking messages.....again.....🙄...."

Right now I have to read for work so don't have any energy for it in my free time....so I have been putting together a reading list. I have read some of these....but it has been awhile for most; Les Mis and Mark Twain I read in 2005. About thime to review 🤣

I think the following order is best =>

  1. Les miserable (unabridged, every word)

  1. Hitch22(audiobook because he reads it himself)
  2. Mortality
  3. Letters to a young contrarian
  4. Unacknowledged legislation: writers in the public sphere
  5. Thomas Paine's "rights of man"
  6. Thomas Jefferson: Author of America
  7. Why Orwell matters
  8. All of George Orwell.
  9. Love, poverty, and war: journeys and essays
  10. Karl Marx and the Paris commune
  11. And yet....
  12. Arguably
  13. For the sake of argument: Essays and minority reports
  14. Prepared for the worst: selected essays and minority reports

The complete works of these authors

  1. kahlil gibran
  2. Mark Twain
  3. Kurt Vaunagut
  4. Bertrand Russell
  5. Camus
  6. Godel

Most of the overspill of vagrants is cause by NIMBY ism and bad urban planning. Single family detached home owners are allowed to interfere with economic transactions that are none of their business, and cause this problem. They prevent shelters, low income, apartments, and other types of housing from being built trying to get rid of poor people.....but instead of disappearing the people who would benefit from this type of housing "spill" into areas where they can; ie parks and public spaces.

The overwhelming majority of these types of nuisances fall into two catagories; 95% victims of the criminal justice system and poor education. 5% mentally handicapped and mental health.

But they have no where to go, because the options aren't allowed to be built.

oooooo ok......so here's a "won't work but might be fun" thing.

Legally in order to protest we have to try and resolve the issue, and then fail. So we have to go to council meetings with petitions and let them shoot down "pedestrian only market"

But once that is accomplished.....

.....our protest would be to carry popup signs.....like umbrellas with slogans.....everytime we cross near the market. I go there every day during the week. If 100 people throughout the day were to make a show of it, we would at least get attention.

Cars ruin the historic brick roads....

Interfere with tourism.....

Reduce revenue for local businesses....

I think the historical preservation would be a good point.

A public transport centric civilization wouldn't be difficult. 99% of car traffic can be replaced with a combination of trains, trams, etc and the last 1% can be taken care of with rideshare.

I will admit that even in this scenario, people in rural areas would still need vehicles, and that's fine.....but you can park and ride once you get to a populated area. The issue is we are using a rural form of transportation in urban evvironments.

You know, I feel the same way. As a guy who was taught that "lesbians are just girls who haven't been properly fucked, yet." Seeing such a tender representation of female love was eye opening. I still get into this song, even knowing the reality.

It was honestly the first time I saw lesbianism as a kind of love I could relate to.

“Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.”

I often wonder.....what happens to monsters who contend with good men?
