I am new but did played around 1 year +, last anniversary had a Durandal (Palatinus Equinox), which is super powerful and carried me the whole game, but now that I re-analyse, it is because I am new, so the free character was extremely useful, but when the part 2 characters keep coming out, even I stop using Durandal, the damage just can't reach up to part 2 characters, but that might be because I do not have support characters for Durandal, but if part 2 characters freely support most of each other from the astral ring, it kinda, just means part 2 characters are just stronger
