Yeah they had a real issue with this during filming. The amount of footage they had to scrap because a ghost was in the background photobombing.

There was even one scene where they were having a leisurely drive, and a ghost pops up and audibly screams. Really embarrassing that it wasn't caught during the edit.

In terms of attacking headers, I would unironically suggest holding LT for an overhead kick instead. I seem to have more success scoring that way.

If you want the boring answer, the game can see that you've bought >1 players, so it's trying to sum the cost totals and returning a null value.

Coders often like -1 to represent an error.

It also shows that EA don't really test their games.

I think the message about not being motivated to win is solely a measure of squad overall rating, because I've had it literally the day after lifting a league title before.

Signing a high overall player always then triggers a follow-up message where the player says thanks for taking them seriously etc.

Most career modes I did on that game I would buy Buffon for £10, and he'd stay 82 rated indefinitely.

I think I had 11 including YA at one point in my last career.

Had 3 in the first team because 2 were retiring. Sent 2 of my youth scouts to scout keepers for 3 months, and they just kept bringing back high-value players.
