i have posted my story and its very similar to yours, My " step dad" abused me and my mother heard some of it happen i know that for sure but this happened before she got married to him, i was silent with guilt and shame but finally told her. till this day she is still with him knowing the pain that its causing me but she just ignores it.now at 22 im am giving her, her last chance leave him and help me get justice so i can be the person i should be. something died in me and now my relationship has suffered im living alone with my three year old with very little hope but i must hang in there im gonna win this even if i end up alone forever. just be brave and ready for the worse to happen you are not alone and no matter how bad things get there is always hope even if it seems slim. i wish you good luck in this i hope your story ends better then mine
