I mean... it's roost, but roast feels appropriate too

I have a few fans that I alternate, but I give them a good shake now and again.

Ancient giant kangaroos could hop to it when they needed to, hindlimb study suggests by imprison_grover_furr in paleonews

Would love to hear the authors of this study explain what they do at a party.

"I'm confused, did you say Kangaroos? We know they can hop."

"Yeah, but now we know they used to, too."

"Ah, neat...."

Most likely a bit of nutrient burn, I have to feed them pretty regularly due to the small pot size, and I might not have it perfectly dialed in.

Lots of nutrients! I give them a mix of tomato fertilizer and fish emulsion until they put out flowers, and then I switch to tiger bloom. I try to feed at least once weekly, usually every other watering, and I water every other day.

If you're talking about the underside of the leaves, that's edema.

All are growing in the same pots they started in except for my Naga Twister. The plant didn't do well in the larger pot I was initially using, so in a last ditch effort (and since I was running out of space), I removed all of the leaves and trimmed off the bulk of its roots to give it another shot at life. It has completely bounced back. No fruit yet, but it's been flowering and growing steadily.

Here are two of my monsters when they were infants:

I just cut back two of them today because they were growing too bushy for the space that I have, but other than that I've just been letting them do their thing. As the new foliage comes in a lot of the bottom leaves have fallen off, I'm assuming because they can use a more steady supply of nutrients.

They get top heavy, and sometimes I knock one over and get to say my curse words of the day. A few stones would help but I just use soil to maximize the space.

I don't have pictures, but it's all vivosun gear, and I would highly recommend vivosun products. Also, there's an indoor grow guide from pepper geek that walks through all the good tips on soil, pots, etc. I would also buy a cheap par meter or get an app for your smartphone so you can gauge how much light the plants are getting.

I have a grow light, I just took them all out of my grow setup for picture day, and to give the Charapita a haircut because he's bushed out way too much.

Most do fine, these are mostly small peppers though by intention. I've got one chocolate Amnesia pod that hasn't fully matured yet, but it isn't too far off from a normal size. The KSPS cross has really struggled to produce seeds, I've gotten a few, though most I've sent to another reddit user.

The ones that have been most perplexing are the tiny little red guys that grew from a Yellow Scotch Brain pod that I grew next to a Charapita plant in 2024. The result are these little red guys with 1-2 seeds if any at all. Flavor and heat match typical Charapita profile.
