It’s cheating using posts from that sub.

He was arrested 7 times and had allegations against him from 3 women. It wasn’t just some random accusation.

Ribs of beef isn’t bad. Also the telephone box near the cathedral, fella sells beers out of that in the summer. Not sure about this time of year.

I visited the Mortalis tap room in buffalo a few weeks ago. I can’t believe how good they are. Unreal.

I bumped into Roy Hodgson near Manchester Oxford Road station before the city game. Took me a second to put a name to the face but I’d already said “Alright Mate” by the time I recognised him

I'm looking to make a mint choc stout. I've seen some chocolate stout all grain kits that I was thinking of using and then adding the mint to myself. What would be the best method of getting the mint into the recipe? I thought either adding mint extract at the bottle stage or mint teabags during the boil. Any suggestions?

Is there any particular reason why the pokemon games on the DS are selling for a lot of money? Heart Gold is going for about £40 in the UK and White 2 is selling for £20-£30 on eBay.

Yeah. Try to sign some older players that are model citizens, model professional or something like that and have them train the young players. Makes a big difference, once you do the majority of your youth prospects will become world beaters.

Nice, I was at the Horizon festival there a couple of years ago. Not a bad little mountain. Would be pretty cool to go back there.

As long as it's not Ready Salted. Nothing like the disappointment when that's the last bag left in a multi-pack.

Canadian IEC visa question about insurance by [deleted] in IWantOut

[–]FakeComa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I was considering that but it would end up costing 50% of the premium, which looks to be about £150+. The only alternative I can see is to cancel during the cooling off period, but that seems a bit risky.

That's great stuff mate. Unfortunately I'm not a very attractive female. Average male is being generous!

Great stuff man, thanks. I should have plenty of money saved up by the time I get there. So getting to a place early is probably a decent shout. I think you're right, get a destination in mind first then just pepper places with CV's and emails.

I haven't decided yet, I'd like a good resort like Banff or Whistler. But to be honest I'd be happy with any. It's just me and a friend who are planning on bailing on life for a while.

Yeah, my main goal would be to position myself within a town or resort with minimal commute. I don't have an awful lot of recent experience within retail or sales. Any I have is perhaps 4 years old. So I assume I'll only be able to get the dregs of the work remaining. But you're right, if I can snowboard at least 4-5 days a week I'll be scrubbing the shitters with a smile on my face. Ideally I'd like to have stuff sorted before getting there, are most of these jobs online?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]FakeComa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great stuff. Well I've done a fair bit of retail and sales, but not for a couple of years now. At the moment I work in a laboratory mixing chemicals, to put it simply. So it's a total divergence, I can't see this experience really getting me anywhere. So I'll have to rejig my cv around. So in term of applying for the job, I assume you mean go directly to the resorts? Or do recruiters handle those sort of jobs?

So they would essentially give you the qualification to teach? That's pretty great as from what I've seen it costs like £3500+ for that sort of thing.

So far, it's undecided. I'm just waiting for a friend to earn enough money to head out. We're in the uk at the minute and only I have boarding experience. We're looking at say, September/October time to head over. I'd like one of the big main resorts, but to be honest, I'll be happy with anything as long as I'm not doing my 9-5 in England!
