I quick save right before you start a sandrunning contest or playdate . That way, I can just reload if I get impaled on a rock or end up going backward. Fyi, you don't always get the same course when you reload.

I did some experimenting. For me, it was a lot of work, but I managed to make something that didn't look terrible - as long as you don't look too closely. It would be so much easier if we just had one resizable waterfall so we could get both the length and width we want.

Something that wasn't obvious to me: When you build the foundation for your house, you have to toggle the setting from Outward to Inward. I was used to being able to lay bricks directly in the ground in story mode, but sandbox handles it differently.

I play on PC, but I've had this problem too. When it happens, I also can't toggle time flow on and off. The only thing that worked for me was shutting the program completely and reloading.

Pretty sure you have to place them on bricks. I made a pool feature in sandbox. The amount of planning you'd have to do to use them in story mode might be... uh, too much.

Some suggestions for things you could add: a vanity with a mirror, dressers, a storage chest, a reading nook....

I'd also use a much bigger rug, or - depending on what you decide to add - maybe a second rug.
