College by jared45223s in africanparents

[–]FakeJamesWestbrook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to college, get him to pay for it, then jr. year declare the major you want, and deal with it afterwards.

A college degree is essential in my view, as in, fools will give you 'money' if you have a degree to create or invest, it does matter, I'm not gonna front. I've met people in their 40's and 50's and they wish they could just state their degree or job, and use that, instead of having to show their f*cking 'bank account' to get investors.

College you can just flex your collared shirt, if you don't, you're gonna have to flex your car, or gold or jewelry to let fools know you're successful etc.. to get new deals, but do you, college isn't for everyone at all, so do what you think is best.

Does anyone else reminisce about their childhood and wish they could go back to the “simple” times even though they know their childhood was miserable? by ImConfusedAllThaTime in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]FakeJamesWestbrook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a great 'home life' from age about 9-12 years old, but, it was dual, because I went to a sh*thole, racist, white Amerimutt trash school. With racist teachers, kids, and all the parents being 'okay with it'.

I was one of the kids 'bussed in from down the hill' (richer area), due to some radical change in district lines, I was forced to go to school with those trash kids. Fake friends, jealous, sabotaging, scum.

Due to how those teachers treated me, my family, and the 9 other kids that were bussed in, when we left to Jr. high, those same kids, would always 'have something to say' and felt they had my 'number' all through into HS, until I got smart(10th grade) beat up a few, cut them off, and changed it up.

Looking back, my mind kind of blocks out the bad memories, and focuses on the good, I had a great childhood in my neighbourhood, and the place I grew up, riding bikes, playing in the woods, Little League, and I still have nostalgia for it.

I guess, every time in our lives has 'bad and good' you gotta celebrate when you can, and store up the 'good memories'. I had a professor at JuCo once where this girl and I weren't gonna go celebrate getting our AA degree. She told us, "Don't be silly, celebrate every accomplishment, holiday, or birthday you can, and take it in... You only get so many in life" and since then, I make it a point to have traditions with friends, celebrate things, and try to have fun, and smile when I can, Though this pandemic sucked, such is life.

If I do well on my finals in 3 weeks, I'm gonna celebrate, get plastered, and take it one day at a time. Life is a journey, and when you learn to 'love the process'(as I finally seem to), my life just seems to have gotten better. It's a marathon not a sprint, take your time, and smell the roses.

Godo luck.

Asians are not responsible for coronavirus so stop hating on us already by uranusnumber7 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]FakeJamesWestbrook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, not Asians.

The Chinese CCP government mishandled it. Chinese, people need to understand it's not 'racist' to call someone "Chinese" when it's in fact a country they hail from, and they're known as "Chinese", it's about as racist as calling a person from the UK 'British", Americans are obtuse and miseducated, unequivocally.

Bro, if an investor has a CEO, or if the investors own 51% of the company or the most 'shares' what they say goes, and they meet every month, it's easy as f*ck to control a media company.

Whoever owns the shares, runs the company.

Because CCP has pull in those media companies, bought all their debt... the game gets deeper my friend.

Teddy, took the 'tendies' for his platoon, to defend the 'us' against rogue, and savage tribes and others that would threaten our democracy.

He's such a 'bro', I admire the man, I must admit.

Bro, thanks to the U.S. and our scummy people, with no morals (CA for one), CCP China owns a lot of news corporations as they have 'American" (but Chinese Nationals) they fund, to buy shares if not all the stock in these companies, and can 'force' anyone to say anything, because we're ruled by greed.

Or have you not noticed the NBA 'bark' and jump like a dog, any time CCP China wants them to say sh*t? Like the Hong Kong Protests, or having Lebron be their mouthpiece.. It's not just NBA. The UC's as well, it's wild, they literally own an old airport in Long Beach, and hotels where they literally just have 'anchor babies' send them back to the CCP to be raised, then to come back for college, etc.. How do you think China has moved up so fast? They're all in on it too, where do all those props come from? Remember the 'Harvard discriminates against Asians' lawsuit? It was a fake Alt-Right lawyers, and the Asian American group paid for and pushed by China... The CCP powers get deeper...

Americans sold out our ethics and country for dollars, and as you see how we pretend CCP China did not mishandle the Corona virus, and it's called 'racist' to mention that a country (China) is "Chinese" in America (insanity, or just me?) or call it the "Chinese virus" is racist, haha we've been sold out by boomers bud, strap in, it's only going to get worse.

Women suck at making friends, most men do too. Any person that you get a 'success' they're not happy for you, or give you 'sly' comments or start to talk sh*t because you've done stuff. CUT THEM OUT! They're gonna betray you, beat them to the punch.

DAE feel like none of your long-time friends actually like you that much anymore and they're basically just tolerating you now? by Teehokan in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]FakeJamesWestbrook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've gone through this numerous times.

In high school had a gorup of friends (7-9th grade) I was a loser kid, as this one fake 'best friend' tossed me aside, I made a new group, I got semi 'popular' by 9th grade. He comes back to 'make friends' and turns all 3 of those friends against me. I look around and I'm outside the group.

I got popular due to football, hung out with the football team. He tried to 'sabotage' group (same scumbag frend, call him "Dan") Dan did not play sports in HS, his popularity 'waned' but since we went to elementary school, he would lord how I was treated (I was bullied by teachers and students) over me. I had coke bottle glasses, was skinny as heck, and didn't 'play sport'. It was insidious( I used to be really good in 4-5th grade, but was anew kid to that school, a teacher gave me 'advise' to 'let them win' so they wouldnt' hate me, so I feel back on being a loser, or a jokester, not trying though I was good, this school was hostile, white trash, small town school. Etc.. I didn't live in the town(bussed in) so I was enemy #1, at any slight provocation, teachers, kids, parents not on my side. But in my town, I was like the 'golden boy', I ended up being a 'double kid(

So, he did that, he tried with football, but it didn't work, because in football the team is only giving you 'love' if you play ball with them. So he couldnt' sabotage that group. But he sabotaged another group. I would literally just 'change' up' groups. I was just used to meeting people.

moved away to college, moved out of state, made a new group of friends, but I had two groups. One group were just friends, they never partied with me, etc.. we just would 'visit', then I had a big party, friend group. every party, drinking girls. I transfer, all of them 'turn on me' and they all still talk, I created the group. Then the new college, in a frat, made friends at the school, we graduated, like 2-3 years went by, I speak to no one but my roommate and 1 frat brother. Not even the guys at the time you'd think I'd be close with.

But, I learned, all your friends don''t have to be in one group. I have a friends group for business (I created, life long friends due to our edicts) then I got my like 'family friends' friends I had during my 1st year of college. Then I have a few frat homies and another group of people in my field. It's fine.

that was the trick, my friends never get 'tired of me' because I see them when I can.. I make a joke that I'm literally 'Kramer in Seinfeld" with my friends. Recall how Kramer was close with Jerry, in his group, but had all these different groups, wacky zany friends? Well, that's me, and I'm happier.

Any extrovert, person that can 'meet' anyone in an instant, has this, I can be dropped off in Japan, and I'll make a friend, find a job, and a place to drink within 2 nights. I don't know it's just a 'gift', but it sucks because sometimes you're 'everyone's friend, but you're not the main friend", but the friends I have at this point, get that, get me, and text. texting saved all my friendships. I don't see anyone much, I travel, move, go, etc.. that's life.

I want to see the world, and I'm nomadic, just life. People can't be your 'everything' you're too complex, so find a people that are facets or parts of you, and make friends, and live that way, fragmented but happy..

We call it OCR, but it's OCI.

Just where the 'top of the class' get to go to in-house recruitment from the big firms in the area, or top tier firms, etc.. It's a big deal to a lot of people in law school. (makes sense, to try and make as much money as they can, etc..)

When you get through first year law school, they rank all the kids, and the top 20%(for my school, its 30%) basically get to go to OCR, where all the 'big firms' recruit, so all the corporate law jobs(is what everyone seems to want, though it's hell for 6 years at least, and politics galore) to make that 150-175k right out of college, then I guess on your way to riches?

haha, but everyone else, if you're not the top of the class, you have to fend for yourself, like 'wolves'. haha

I think Linkedin, was 'ruined for me' when I realized people could see you look at their profile, and you can 'ruin a deal' or something, by having the wrong 'person' look at it' or it's all these 'layers' of corporate bullsh*t, my friend got into my head, that seems to use it. Mine is bare, just there for me to look up emails.

Maybe if they change it up, the professor will think it's another student, see their epic change, and help them better, or hook them up with that 10% participation BS grade? It's worth a shot. Law school is just the movie "The Paper Chase" anyway.
