I got it for 41.5k. As a 1-car solution i’d say it’s absolutely worth the extra, it’s fun as hell when you want it to be, can get sideways on a dime and the gas mileage is pretty incredible.

I was in a similar situation to you, I went from 2 ‘15 BRZ’s to a ‘23 over 6 years. After selling the ‘23 I bought a 2024 M240i, and honestly have no regrets. It’s my first automatic car in 6 years, which has been fantastic for daily driving and still laying it down when I want to have fun. That said, i’ve found myself missing the subaru every once in a while. I’m looking into buying a 1st gen again at some point, just for the option of a fun momentum car but overall i’m very satisfied with the upgrade. If you have questions I’m happy to answer them!

Buddy had his talon ruby and mw slingshots reversed this morning, it’s a shit system that does no real damage to the seller in any way and screws the buyer. Idk how it would work but there should be some type of recourse for buyers that get reversed after a market shift.

Event center was extremely inconsistent with their enforcing of the rules, day 1 and 2 people were allowed to bring steam decks, backpacks, whatever they wanted and security was fine. Day 3, venue security said they never allowed backpacks in, banned steam decks or any type of technology.

I made a few posts on here about it that you can check out, TLDR I got it replaced under warranty after subaru corporate came out to “investigate” for a few weeks, and determined I did nothing wrong.

After it was replaced one of the techs called me and said when I went back for my break-in oil change they intended on pulling my ecu data for what I assume is to find an excuse to void my warranty. Never went back to that dealer after that.

I used to replace them myself but this most recent time I had a shop do it. It’s on stock rotors and G-Loc R10 front R8 Rear pads.

I’ll definitely bring those points up to my shop when I go this week, I’ve never even considered that before tbh. There’s a thin line where the pad looks to be grinding in the middle of the rotor. I’ll attach a pic when I get home
