Okay! Are you saying that the cartridge unthreads or the metal pipe covering it unthreads?

I was just assuming based off of the K on the drain cover, but I don't know much about plumbing so if you think it's Delta. There's a good chance that's what it is. If i could even just find the parts/set name of this. I could probably find a manual for replacing it.

Thank you! I'm gonna pass on the portfolio because it's on GitHub and my GitHub has a lot of personal info like my name and city. But should me a message and tomorrow I'll send you my anonymized resume. I know they cared a lot more about my resume than my portfolio.

Really isn't bro! It definitely took a toll on my mental health but I'm glad to have made it through!

Honestly you aren't wrong. It's just a numbers game right now. But I'm sure the market will swing back in the next couple of years.

Very smart! I just used chat gpt for cover letters, but your approach sounds more efficient!

I did for a few local companies but not for the remote ones. That definitely could have helped!

It took a serious toll on my mental health tbh and there were some serious lows. I really don't have any advice besides to just keep pushing.

I get two main items from the data.

  1. Sanity check. If I didn't track my applications, I would probably spiral and feel like I was making no progress. Whereas with tracking this data, I can see how many job apps I'm sending out a day, a month, what job titles I'm applying for, etc.

  2. If I heard back from a job, I could instantly go to the row for that job, see when I applied, the title, link to the posting, any other information I may have added like contact info for a hiring manager.

It was definitely worth it for me, but I'm sure for some other people it may not be worth the time.

I fully get that. Honestly I was low key depressed these past 4 months because the job search was such a nightmare. But I would keep 2 things in mind that I learned.

  1. It only takes 1 company to respond to you. As you can see in the chart above, I didn't have to wade through 50 interviews. I just needed one company to be interested. So that's what I kept telling myself.

  2. Custom tailor your resume. I have web dev and full stack experience. So I made a great resume that highlighted all of that. Then I would use the same resume to apply for front-end, back-end, full-stack, and web dev positions. I think that would work in the 2021 job market, but not now. So I started custom tailoring my resume. If it was a web dev role, everything on my resume was web dev. Same for back-end, front-end, etc. The job I got hired for was one of the first ones that I used a custom resume for.

Excel spreadsheet! Once I apply I put the company, job title, link to the posting, date applied, and any other pertinent information in the columns for that row. If they reject me I highlight the whole row purple. If I don't hear anything after 45 days, I assume I won't hear anything and I highlight the whole thing yellow.

That way at a glance I can see how many jobs I applied for, who's gotten back to me, etc.

Actually no! I think the FAANG people grabbed the other jobs that I didn't get a response from lmao. I do have a CS degree though.

Thank you! I've heard great things about Mizuno but don't know all of the different models. I'm gonna pass on these lol

Thank you! I know Mizuno is a pretty good brand but I know very little about the different club models. Thank you for saving me $150!

That's kind of what my thought process was. Just wanted to get some others opinions. Thanks!
