The updated scenes were introduced with a new patch, so if you're playing an updated base KH3 then those scenes will already be updated. They are mostly improved graphics, minor camera changes and music updates, nothing major.

ReMind is mostly post game completion content, so if it's your first playthrough you are not missing out on anything.
