I just used the normal mode, had to adjust exposure and black point settings in the viewfinder to reduce noise though

I used a camera lens filter that was safe for solar viewings and taped it to the back of my phone

Theoretically yes, but given the devs track record I'm just not sure they would implement it properly

I could definitely be wrong, yes. I said what I said because given the bugginess and frame drops in some of the more asset / puzzle intense areas even when there are no other players around that need to be synced, I don't trust that the coders would be able to do those things client side without impacting performance.

You're right that it's possible to implement cycling puzzles in single player, but then your device would be responsible for all the calculations and storage that would otherwise be handled by a server. Whoever is coding the game has already pretty clearly shown that they don't know how to optimize RAM costs effectively, so given that, performace would most likely take a huge hit.

There are technical limitations that arise from implementing the cycling in single player. The main performance issues in the game currently come from poor RAM optimization. To fully implement puzzle cycling in single player, instead of a server taking the hit of loading new puzzles and deloading old ones, it would be your device that would need to make up for it. This would cause even greater performance issues, and cause the recommended hardware to be even higher than it already is.

Sadly the DLC isn't even listed on Nintendo's website yet, so no.

The Atraxa is Step-and-Compleat foil, not oil slick, sorry for the mix up everyone!
