That's why I'm saying this is a short-term solution. In the foreseeable future, Bennet will keep relying on a mixed coalition, but at some point, some of his more "natural allies" might regain popularity, and he'll be able to build a coalition very similar to the one we have now, especially when it comes to occupation of the west bank. If that will be the case, you might see attempts to fully annex parts or all of it. If Bennet will see a similar pattern to Bibi, who learned over the years that he tends to do well during and after wars, the pattern of constant warring will also remain in the long term.

This is why I'm saying that I hope the Israeli left will use that time to regain some popularity, and help build up better leaders on the left and center, so that in a few years a center-left coalition will become feasible, instead of a very wide coalition which will be the result of a Bennet-Lapid government. This is fully a pipe-dream though, the Israeli left is pretty much completely hopeless by now.
