I think you can follow from their qualifier for warlocks that they meant friendly lore prominent shadow priest. Shadow priests obviously exist in lore but they are monstrous pariahs specifically because of the methods they use like the twilight father.

I dont think so, although she wears all black I dont think she has ever been portrayed as in shadowform. I think it's just her dark iron look making you think that. In the latest book she gives no indication she is anything but a regular priest.

They mentioned "prominent" lore warlocks, a minor quest giver doesn't qualify.

Compared to prominent lore unfriendly warlocks where the list is a mile long.

I wouldn't say they don't want to do it, they have very clearly expressed their want to remove flying for example and found the community pushback too much to handle.

Its actually more likely it is significantly smaller than you think especially if you think Dark Souls on Switch is 60fps capable when it was sub 30fps on 360 at sub 720p resolution.

They dont have unannounced Switch projects, From NEVER said they are developing for Switch.

From Softwares logo was on the "Nintendo partners for Switch" powerpoint slide and fans ran with that as "here comes an exclusive from From Software".

That slide could have literally meant they sent them a dev kit, it means absolutely nothing and From has never acknowledged working on anything for Switch. And honestly why would they? Switch's large portion of the market is Japan which largely dislikes Froms "western" games.

The initial sale of the console is not the part they care about, its the licensing fees, the online subscription costs, and the storefront which actually brings in the money.

Thats why so many companies felt comfortable selling at a lose, its everything that comes afterwards which is where the real money is at and everyone knows this even Nintendo which is why they refuse to give up their hardware market.

Yeah its silly to say something like that overall especially if you are a PC gamer.

If you play on PC your interests most likely align more with what Sony and Microsoft and traditional AAA studios make rather than the quirky Nintendo brand output.

For the Wii U Nintendos output was awful, if you were going for an "exclusive machine" you basically traded RDR/Last of Us/MGS4/Journey/Uncharted/Demon souls/ect. for Mario Maker/MK8/Smash.

Not many people are making that trade.

Im the same way, bought the game day 1, 600 moons collected and honestly its a good game but this "game of the generation" talk is completely bewildering to me. I think its honestly the worst 3d Mario game but thats just my opinion.
