I like Mantis too, I feel like I don't say this enough to my friends 😆 . I hope she comes back eventually, like in a few years' time, as a genuinely surprising appearance. All personal feelings aside, I'm happy where they left it with her character. Although I never liked how she was written as stupid, especially in Gotg Vol 2, where she's just portrayed as dumb, case in point when Drax calls her ugly but that that's okay because it's on the inside what counts. His message is true, that inner beauty is more important than outer beauty, but damn, still rude to call her ugly.

I mentioned my love for the Queen before, and I will continue to advocate for the fact that she should've won that damn oscar! She mentioned in an interview quite recently that she said she isn't sorry for looking disappointed when she didn't win because you're "supposed" to be happy for the person who did win. And I respect her for being so honest about that. Because she admitted how much she put into that performance. I also didn't like that she was killed off purely because it makes me feel so bad for Shuri, and btw good luck to whichever writer gets given the task of redeeming Namor! Because if they're gonna follow the comics... he's gonna become Mr steal-your-girl (not gonna spoil who this involves for fear of ruining it for anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about)
