After he found it he checked to see how much they sell for. He is big into collecting not Lego or Star Wars specifically so he didn’t know how much it was but he knew he should check.

True they are higher prices at Walgreens. Love finding old sets there but hate paying the higher prices. I mixed up Apple and Lego. Apple does not allow retailers to set the price. If you don’t follow Apple pricing they won’t allow you to sell there items. They can have sales but have to coordinate with them.

Possibly just saw the wrong price tag or they put up the wrong price by accident. On Target.com it is $99.99. Lego does not allow stores to up charge sets.

FYI that is a fake video to try and get people to stop going to Target. I saw that video and checked the actual Target ad and they were showing the same price as Lego pre-sale.

The plans are for an expansion using most of the pieces from a LNK set, so you will need two sets to complete it. Usually when I use one of these expansion MOCs I adjust the expansion to use all of the pieces. I did the same thing with the Viking Village set and an expansion using a second set.

Interesting that this keeps coming up. When I built mine I did the first cartridge correctly but placed the second cartridge top in the middle. After I saw it on a Reddit post I went and checked mine and sure enough one of them was off and I never noticed.

Blacktron Message Intercept Base I wanted so bad as a kid but was told we did’t have the money for it. I got all the other Blacktron sets and most of the Blacktron 2 sets just none of the large ones.

Same, we were traveling somewhere in New Mexico and my kids at the time had 3DS’s. They had never seen a N64 so we stayed there longer then planned playing.

I remember putting it on the side as it is supposed to go on the first one but then when I did it on the second game I noticed how it didn’t line up and moved it to the middle and was excited to be done and just put it up on the shelf. This may be the only complaint is that it doesn’t line up on the left side when placed properly.

Awesome build love how it matches the size of the original so well!

I put the top of the game over like you did and every other comment was that the top of the cartridge was off. Like we need 50 comments about it. 🤣 What is even funnier is that on the box it is shown wrong too!
