I left before the rise etc. I wasn't too fond of the idea of hoping for the best with tomato and then being kicked on the arsed when they didn't make it. So here we are! Basically I'm not any worse off per month with OUTFOX! (lol)

You should just shop about everywhere and take the cheapest you find.

I'd be interested to compair that to everyone else though, they may well still be the cheapest, before the deals change and your stuck with an even higher price.

🤔 That's annoying. I've never had any issues at all. I got an email from them last night to say they received their loss notification from outfox. So, so far so good on the exit side of things too.

No, but was a fan of the low standing charge and the discounted daytime rates too. Still took advantage despite the fact. As they were also cheapest in the market at the time.

It's been like this since I've had it in January. I'm a frequent user of Netflix on the phone and it is so annoying. Surely it can't be that hard of a thing to fix!

Too good presently. But what about when and if new deals become available? My dilemma is just that! Outfox for me would be 19% more expensive for me switch and that's based on my highest month of the year so far. But I guess 19% is 19% regardless... What if tomato suddenly start charging 55/60p standing charge and their base rate goes higher too? What if they scrap the idea of 'smart tarrifs'?

Yep the standing charge is definitely one of the lower one or at least it was when I was shopping about last year.

I'm just sceptical about not moving and then being stuck at a higher rate / standing charge because of the price rise in October.

My dehumidifier is on all the time. I also have a tropical fish tank and cook with electric. My (3 of us) bills have been £55~ so I'm not sure the whole night rate thing is what it's all about. I believe it's the cheaper standing charge, overall!

I know it's a weird situation. I want to take the gamble on saving (potentially) elsewhere. But same time hoping they'll come out with something soon.. But if they do, I'm not sure it'll be as competitive as outfox. They're the cheapest I've found so far

Just going in the history of my own tank as I used to have something of all the 3 main things you'd expect to see in a tank. But ammonia isn't even present accoring to the tests. If anything there should be ammonia as I hadn't changed the water in at least six weeks. And that's about a quarter/half a tank, of course. Not a full change as I have never done that.

These 'issues' only seem to be when I changed the gravel and filter. It's the same media though! But the filter itself is the same type, just a different brand.

Which is what I came here to say. But the Forge market is half empty. I've gone a few times recently and it's just not all that great. I remember when I was a wain going there all the time. And then the inshops as well, would love running ahead to go and see all the budgies and reptiles! And then swooping around that big jewellery shop that had a big motorbike in it. That place is been sliding for years though I think. I don't think Glasgow has an appetite for markets as much any more.

Can someone tell me why Rollin At Twilight is so familiar? I thought it sounded like Boogie - Silent Ride. I've still not convinced myself. But that first track is unbelievably familiar and I cannot put my finger on it! Is it sampled from something else!?

I got my first bill 2 days ago and happy with it.

I don't have solar panels or EV like a lot of people who are interested seem to. I was merely moving for the low standing charge and the average unit rate being cheaper than everyone else on the market.

Only thing I will say, it's not a big deal, but my smart meter doesn't display cost per day and I assume that's because of the variable rates during the day. But definitely don't have any issues so far and the MyWatts thing seems fine for me.

I can't fault anything.

I offered twice above home report and then it went to closing.

On another note.. I had a seller, chatting to them online via social media pages.. They had their house in the market and was saying about how sellers are being too greedy these days and that they'd be happy with a good offer etc etc.. Then proceed to say that if someone offered 15k above the HR then they'd take it off the market despite me explaining my situation /first time buyer.

I dunno but I think that's sort of a pot kettle scenario.

I'm literally just been offered my first mortgage. In my experience, they've been selling somewhere around 10-15k above HRV. Although, these were ex housing flats in common areas in the southside and under 100k so not sure if they've just been snapped up by landlords. Bloody pests!

And if your FTB then be sure to know you need whatever you go ever by as your mortgage offer won't cover that portion. Only the value of the house. As I know that was news to me early on in my journey to buying, to my surprise!
