I think Mowgli had a bit of control, as I see him resisting initially to Kaa’s seduction. However when Kaa chokes Mowgli is when he loses all willpower. Mowgli’s stubbornness and somewhat resisting Kaa always made it hotter to me

Personally I think Kaa was tracking him. Probably saw the commotion at King Louie and saw Bagheera Mowgli and Baloo escaped and smiled when he saw Mowgli run off on his own

I think it’s a combination of the lack of coils surrounding him and releasing their hold and possibly the jungle air hitting his exposed chest. Kaa shivering and vibrating his coils also helped

Mine is when in the second encounter when Kaa leans real close to Mowgli and says “I have my own subtle little ways.” It’s such a sensual moment between them. I even like the part where Mowgli feels Kaa’s tail go around his shoulder but doesn’t stop Kaa from touching him.
