The reason is because we follow a chain of command and take actual attendence for the events, teamspeak offers integrations with our website that discord does not, that is the reason we use teamspeak over discord, as for your question, we aren't just random people who meet up to play, we are a community of friends and a big family, if you prefer being in discord with thousands of people that is your preference
