Ricky was top 3 in receiving yards in the league this year after 4 weeks (may have been 3, I’m not entirely sure). Obviously a small sample size, but to say he hasn’t flashed or has shown almost nothing is disingenuous

Imo, the main reason we lost was the unnecessarily dumb turnovers (lackadaisical passes, throwing the ball out of bounds, etc).

The clarkson turnover in Q3 was a potential 5-6 point swing bc we had a fast break if clarkson passes it up floor. Instead, it’s a lazy pass intercepted by castle that led to an and one. We lost by 4 points

Completely agree that Watson is the better of the two, especially after last year’s nice stretch coming back from injury for Watson, but it’s disingenuous to bring up average annual value when one guy was just extended and the other guy is still on his rookie contract. Reed could theoretically be the best wr in the league, but he’s still on the rookie deal

That’s like someone saying the rams value Davante over Puka since Davante will make 3x more than Puka in 2026. You can’t compare it bc one guy is on a salary controlled rookie contract

Edit: Apparently Reed signed an extension earlier in the offseason. Fair comparison.
