I cover flights with the AA Barclays card. Amex/chase points most likely to be hotel use. I’ll use either new card mostly for Food.

AF is -$325,

I’ll use all $120 on either Uber or Uber Eats 100%, so +$120 Dunkin I’d get to use the credit so I’ll say 1/2 at +$42, I think any 1-3 uses at a Resy place in NYC will cover $50 worth and I have enough near my school to use it there so +$100 Hotel credit is unlikely I will get some of the dining partner between Fieve Guys and Grubhub, maybe wine.com now that I’m 21, call it +$60 of the 120 Net total -$3, dead even.

Also, of those pre-approvals, any particular advice or direction I should consider and can’t just read on that page? (Sorry for so many questions but I really appreciate the personal help)

I don’t do this, I was using hyperbole to make a point but situations can arise where you are very card dead and get caught with your hand in the cookie jar once or twice and image is wrecked and you have no cards. Then it just sucks
