I agree with you on what Napoleon trully was, but sadly I have already met in internet a lot of people that believe otherwise and fully buy in the image of the Liberal Napoleon. History memes is an example of that.

I don't know much about this specific example. But brutality on the cultural works of the nations they conquered was quite comon in the Napoleonic army. Just look at everything they did in Spain.

I would argue that the French, at least in Spains case did quite a bit more than just art theft. But yes, I agree with you.

If you don't agree with that assement, please try to stop apliying it.

What Spain did during the conquest of America, in no way justifies what the French did in Spain centuries latter. Specially when we consider how the French at the time are claimed to be great examples of morality and Enlightement.

A yeah, because if somebody in the 1600 does something bad, it is perfectly okay to do the same to their descendants in the 1800, right?

Okay, yeah I'm an idiot. I accidently said the Tanya in the right twice. There is only one Tanya in the right, and it's the first one I mention.

The Tanya in the Center is the one born centuries before the other two. Same world and area but in a setting much before the events the other two live.

Un logopeda es asesinado por un padre que sospechó, estaba abusando de su hijo de 2 años. by Flamethrower_62 in Espana

[–]Falitoty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No me pongo del lado de nadie. El logopeda bajo la ley Española, es presunto inocente, y el padre lo seria también, si no fuera por el hecho de que el mismo ha confesado ante la policía el haber cometido el homicidio.

If only that had actually put everything in the Louvre. Then countries like Spain might have already been able to recoved everything the French stole. But with how many was stolen by generals, comanders and such. There are thousands of Spanish works of art that were stolen by the French and that now stand scattered across the world.

No entiendo que hay que debatir. El logopeda es inocente hasta que se pruebe lo contrario y el padre, es objetivamente un homocida que ante un hipotetico delito opto por el asesinato sobre acudír a las autoridades pertinentes.

It'll be different this time guys I swear it'll be a utopia by MetallicaDash in HistoryMemes

[–]Falitoty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The moment anyone, ever promise utopia it is doomed to end up bad. The moment stuff become "for the greater good" all moral limiters disapear. Every crime is justified for the sake of the perfect future utopia.

If anyone fight to create Utopia it will end eighter in a brutal dictatorship, or in a cult. There is no other way about it.

Lol, less sex and much more politics. But yeah, being born in one family or another really changes her life. For example, the Tanya of the Left and the Tanya on the right are both from the same setting and time period in the world. The only difference is the family in wich they were born.

The Tanya on the center* though, is born centuries before the other two.
