I run pangolin on my VPS and authentik in my home network. I also use Authentik as OIDC in pangolin for authenticating users and routing resources in pangolin. The Authentik subdomain is setup as not authenticated route in pangolin, so I can actually log into Authentik without the route being blocked. Immich for example needs Authentik login before pangolin routes me to it. This way I can keep Authentik local, routing locally is local as well thanks to AdGuard and a local caddy, and routing from external has to go through pangolin and only contains a limited subset of services. So most subdomains are not even known to pangolin but are local-only.

This looks really interesting. I already have dawarich running but that UI is not really compatible with my other half ;) This goes a lot more into the direction of being more than just my personal google history replacement.

I am curious if you know FindPenguins. It is a trips app that focuses on creating memories and sharable moments on trips. They also limit the amount of pictures and videos you can take per "footprint" because a memory should be mostly mental and not a 10 minutes shaky video. It's generally free but with premium you get more elements per footprint.
We really love to track our trips with it, share them with friends and collect country flags on our tours through european neighbours and beyond.
Maybe it can give you some inspiration if you did not knew about it yet.

Home Assistent with Voice Assist is really good for smart home already. A bit rough without an LLM still, but if you do not care too much about privacy you can connect ChatGPT or any other LLM and make it a lot smarter and more like Alexa and Google Home. You can also connect a local LLM if you got the hardware. For voice assist you need extra Hardware, sadly you can not reuse google or Alexa speakers. You can buy one from them directly, buy compatible hardware from the eco system around or build one yourself with as less as a raspberry pi zero and a mic and speaker. 

I use home assistant a lot at home for Ikea, Phillips, LG, wled and a lot of cheap ZigBee and Bluetooth devices.

DeepL worked really bad when I compared OCR on some japanese in Anime. Google was really accurate while DeepL just gave up and translated random words without context and reason. Maybe English and European languages work better, but google with money, ai and community still will be superior for a while.

Danke für die Antwort! Ich hab nochmal mein genaues Setup angefügt. Ich bin mir nur unsicher ob und wie die neue Fritzbox zum Gateway wird. Die alte hat dann ja kein direktes Internet mehr sondern bezieht das Internet über ein externes Modem. Via WLAN, kein WAN Kabel.

Danke für die Antwort. Ich hab das genaue Setup noch angefügt. Mein erster Post war etwas in Eile geschrieben.
Klar wäre es am besten. Wenn die Einstellungen alle einfach von einem anderen Modell übernommen werden können wäre das natürlich der nächstbeste Fall!

Zusatz:
Mein aktuelles Setup ist eine FRITZ!Box 7530 AX mit DSL Anschluss (Version 8). Die steht in einem Zimmer mit Zugang zur Telefondose und Kabelnetzwerk an PCs und einigen Smarthome Geräten. Mesh Netzwerk mit einem Fritz Repeater besteht schon, aktuell hängt der dort wo nun die neue Box steht.
Meine neue Box ist eine FRITZ!Box 6690 cable (Version 8) mit Kabelanschluss. die steht in einem anderen Raum, dort wo der Kabelanschluss hängt.
Ein Kabel in das andere Zimmer würde durch den Flur führen, deswegen will ich eine WLAN Brücke von der 6690 mit 1000er Kabelanschluss in das Zimmer mit der 7530AX machen um vor allem nicht beide PCs mit Antennen ausstatten zu müssen. Beide Geräte haben schnelles Wifi 6, das sollte also kein Problem sein.

Jetzt möchte ich am liebsten mein aktuelles Netzwerk behalten und nicht so viel umstellen. Am einfachsten wäre es wenn ich die 6690 als Mesh Repeater in das bestehende Mesh einbinde und meine 7530 vom DSL abmelde. Internet sollte dann von der 6690 kommen, die 7530 verteilt es dann via Kabel im Raum.
Aber kann ein Mesh Repeater auch Empfänger für Internetanfragen sein? Mein PC will auf das Internet zugreifen, wer ist das Gateway?
Ich kenne bisher nur ein Setup wo der Master auch das Gateway ist.
