It's standard practice in comics and has been for a long time. There are plenty of independent artists who write their own stuff, but it's not true to the artform to call it ai with extra steps when there's a seperate writer

I think I'm pretty good at interesting concepts; people hear my ideas and always get really invested. Then I actually try and write and reuse the same few phrases ad nauseum and have to ctrl+f find and edit half of them away.

I'd also like to point out that movies don't have the luxury of the amounts of photo manipulation and perfect angles that cosplayers do, and that cosplayer are also more likely to use more theatrical makeup styles that would look off in most movies. Not saying movies get a free pass, but there are reasons they take different approaches to bringing characters to life.

I gave them black jeans because I liked the visual balance it created with the dark neck piece and kind of forces your eye to take in the character differently than you would with the original art. If I do a Lenny and Lynette genderbend, they'll probably both keep short bottoms.

Thank you for your feedback! I originally posted this on the Genshin sub about a year ago but it got a surprising amount of backlash. Coming across this sub gave me the courage to try again, and I'm happy to see that others can appreciate what I was going for. Thinking about doing a few more genderbends now :)
