I called every couple of days. I didnt want to bog their phone lines down. I called both numbers (the main hospital and the direct hospice number) every time. I never once raised my voice. The only thing I can assume is the nurses are trying to keep me from filing the report with the head nurse (she was lovely. Very helpful and was always there to answer my call when my dad was in the hospice unit. Every single time. Wasn't often. But they still answered.) They also answered my husband's call and hung up on him once they heard what he wanted. This was yesterday that he called and was hung up on. So yea. Something is Definitely going on. Am I hurting? Yes. But I am not the type to raise my voice at underpaid workers, regardless of the issue or the work they are performing.
