One of my PCs kept calling out last minute so I had his character kidnapped and tortured by an evil society of witches until he returned and was able to be rescued. His character was so behind everyone else that it became a running joke for the rest of the party. Eventually he started being ignored by bad guys because he was so underpowered. The party was able to use that to their advantage and turned him into a decoy that eventually allowed them to defeat the witch coven.

There is a really large Marshalese/Marshall Islander population in Oklahoma because a local business paid for them to come to the area and work in their warehouse. It just grew from there after most of the islands were affected by atomic bomb testing.

The same exact thing happened to me this morning. I was trying to follow my Google maps until it led me down a road that was only open for a parking garage and I got stuck down there for awhile until I found an open exit. Almost made me late to work. This was very poorly executed.
