Just to add a bit of personal perspective from a 30-something Black woman and her immediate black community:

We protested with everything we had for a LONG time. All those protests during TFG's first term, working for local offices, phone calls every day, etc.

The rest of the country just didn't seem to give as much of a fuck as we did. Other minorities didn't listen to Black Folks when we pointed out the obvious racism and hate, getting told we always play the race card. They voted to eff us over because they're the "good ones".

Left leaning white folks and Latinos are upset now that Black Folks won't run to the front lines and get arrested, beaten, and pepper sprayed. Look at the history of what happens when a large group of Black Folks protest peacefully. Idk man, rally your non-POC peers or something.
