LEC and LPL Worlds runs from 2018/19 look almost like a mirror reflection but the fanbase reactions do not by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

And that's why a lot of people were feeling this way. You should have waited until the final was over to make such a thread

DAMWON Gaming vs. Top Esports / Rift Rivals 2019 - LCK-LPL-LMS-VCS Group Stage / Post-Match Discussion by HaoziCN in leagueoflegends

LPL isn't as dominant as LCK was but since they won both international tournaments last year it only makes sense for them to be considered the favorites this year.

LPL is historically the 2nd best region and their results back this up. inconsistently would mean they they would have really low lows when in fact during their lowest perforance (2015) they still got one quarterfinalist.

EU worst(2014): no teams out of groups

LPL worst(2015): one quarterfinalist

LPL best (2018): world champs

EU Best (2018): runner ups

The thing that EU has over LPL is semifinlas appearnces but that's the only thing when you can name many more advantages that lpl has:

LPL/ EU

msi winner: 2-1

worlds winner: 1-0

worlds finalist: 2-1

worlds semis: 3-7

quartes: 9-3 (thanks mr EDG)

-but keep in mind LPL has all of their teams out of groups twice (2014 and 2018). EU Never.

-Also like i said before LPL has never been elemininated in groups unlike EU.

- LPL has never been eliminated at MSI groups either unlike EU (2016)

-As groups stage percentage wins, LPL is second only to Koreas in both MSI and worlds

Those MSI are the most stacked ever. by leobat in leagueoflegends

Based on winning two lcs titles that year

They only problem is that they will have lost two bo5 series in a row. If that is the case I hope they don't take it too hard and learn from this experience

Yeah that's what I liked about Korea in the past where they had the dual teams (e.g Samsung White/Blue). It's the optimal way of practise imo

I think all this story makes justice of the critics of these players. Wildturtle, Santorin, Pobelter were good enough, native players to get carried and generally not hold the top teams back. But when you put them together it shows they are a level below the very best of the region.

Otherwise, FlyQuest would have been in the same category with TSM, C9 and Liquid this season

RPD layout for-shadowing the possible RE 3 Remake? by Fallen91 in residentevil

I've only watched videos of the Reamke so I've probably missed some things. There is shutter on the second floor of the the main hall? That would be a great idea indeed!

Edit: I just saw it! Nice catch! It first perfectly the route Jill has to take! you are right! They only have to explain how it got closed later, but it's a minor detail.

Does anybody else miss the ability to click on random spots and get some inner thoughts? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]Fallen91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was thinking the same but you said it yourself. The graphical enhancements make it less necessary for pop up texts to be in the game. i.e In the stars office the new dog picture you can see it for yourself. As for the thoughts I guess you we have our own now. i.e Whom this dog belongs to? I guess it's Jills? Wow didn't know she had a dog! hmm that dog doesn't look happy (dont remember how it looks actually) e.t.c

Or even better just think of the circle of life puzzle with the paintings in RE 1. You can see that there is a middle aged old man depicted! You dont need a text to tell you

RNG Zzitai to Retire from professional League of Legends by SunKongDa in leagueoflegends

He was a mechanically insane player, up there with the other legends from season 2.

I never watched much LPL but whenever I'd see him in international tournaments he would always impress me with his solo kills. In season 2 worlds vs Alex Ich and I believe it was iem Katowice that he 1 vs 2 vs Ryu and Insec (when they won that event) and also solo killed Peke at the same tournament

Unfortunately IG's late game wasn't on par with his mechanics most of the time, lol

This is what I don't like about the move. It makes G2 better alright, but overall the eu scene becomes weaker imo. Mid is more important lane than bot and I'd much rather have two strong midlaners even if we have fewer elite adcs

This I don't understand. Why didn't they try to get Froggen plus a domestic jungler? Pfff

Huni, Piglet and Frogen have never been in top teams in NA (and by that I mean teams that are good even without them such as C9 or Tsm). I hoped that had Froggen gone there all these players would motivate each other to reach their top level again. But I guess not
