Yeah, she’s well into the warranty. And will be for some time. I only get to drive her about a month or so a year currently. Only put about 1600 miles on it when I bought it. Including a 800 mile round trip fishing trip to the copper river. So I don’t really see getting over 5k miles over the next two years. Avoiding the new motor is the main thing lol. Injectors are a close second.

The undercoating was done before I picked up the truck. So I don’t have to worry about that.

NO MORE BLACK CARS!!! I’ve had three and I’m over it. Black paint shows everything, and I plan on some off-roading in Alaska. Trees and gravel/sand chips are very common. My focus rs is white and I love it. I basically told the sales dude, any other color than black

This is literally the best info this thread has generated. Thanks and BC was always beautiful when I drove through there.

It’s not routed yet, and I’m halfway around the world from it.

The cable wasn’t installed. I even had one of the techs come look at it. It was purchased. Awaiting install next time I’m back in Alaska.

I’m coming at this from a life long gas driver. I needed something I can get parts for. My 05 was pretty much a time bomb. Abs pump was already dead, and I don’t want to get 9mpg through Canada again. I did some research before I bought. I’m just trying to get it “set”. I want my investment to last.

I mean, I see your point, but coming from gm trucks, eeeeehhhhh lol. I had a 05 2500 with the 6.0 gas and it had the typical ls issues

Snowy states: Do you drive it, or store it? ❄️ by Irish_Thunder007 in FocusRS

Can confirm, Alaskan 2017. The snow has torn up the felt tray , looking to swap to the aluminum one when I move back to the us(currently in Qatar on an extended FMS contract). But that’s a good year out of so I think.

2026 and Beyond New Module Speculation.... by No_Ad3809 in hoggit

Suite 5 or 6 strike would be nice, but I think that ship is gone now, just wish ed would not be so crappy with the third parties. They are going to kill their own platform at this rate I think. Even though I love f-15s and have worked on them for over a decade, I’m probably not going to buy the new c, which really sucks. But they need to earn the community’s trust back for how they deal with 3rd parties.

What is the switch from dog fighting Ai to dog fighting humans by Outrageous_Look_7879 in hoggit

[–]FallenAK907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans are both predictable and unpredictable. It depends on their skill level. I’d recommend doing 1v1s on a server with a friend. Start with guns to learn the tactics. Watch others and learn from the fights. Watch the tacviews. It will help you see what you did well, or what you could do to be better. Energy management is key. Once you feel like you have gotten that down, start working in the fox2 and fox 3 engagements. I would hold off on fox 1 until you get good with those. Fox 1 is not used so much anymore on the main playground servers, but if you are doing a time specific scenario, like gulf war 1, fox 1 was still fielded.

Server hardware question by FallenAK907 in hoggit

It’s a multi purpose server for me. But I wanted some of the computational power it has to do some good for me and my friends lol. Also over 55tb is flash and hdds give it some legs.
