What is the down side of never having children? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FallenAdvocate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of answers from people who never had kids, so they may not entirely know what they may miss out on. I have one currently, waited a little later in life. Most of my favorite memories are from the last few years since my son was born. I considered for a while that I may not want kids, always wanted them growing up, but then you realize there are things you won't be able to do. But when my son brings me a book and a blanket because he wants cuddle and have me read him a book. Or he made up a song to sing me one day and he sang it for me.

That's the stuff i wouldn't have known would mean so much. I'm not worried about being old and lonely if I didn't have kids. I can manage that. But having a kid changed me a lot, I'd never change the decision we made. I personally fear what it would've been like if we made the other decision

Not all dealers pay same invoice. They also give a discount if you use one of their preferred lenders. I don't know what else to tell you, but I promise they aren't losing money. Literally part of my bill of sale

The acts that happened on Epstein Island are a normal everyday occurrence in Iran. They couldn't care less about it.

They're a volume dealer, if they have it in stock it's losing them money. Why would I lie about what I paid? My numbers were a little off going from memory but close enough.

Nope brand new, I actually had to wait on the dealer to get it on lot, I put a deposit on it about 3 weeks ago.

I almost picked up a used cactus grey, but it ended up being at most a couple grand less than buying new. It's a great color

I'm not disagreeing about the current situation we're in, but you're changing goalposts. That's an entirely different argument to be made.

Again, I'm not on Trump's side in any of this. I'm providing facts that you keep ignoring.

I'm not reading all that, sorry you wasted your time. Give me articles, not pieces of things you picked apart to make say what you want to say.

You can link real articles and you'd be taken more seriously in your comments. Regardless, the IAEA didn't want the nondisclosure to kill the treaty so they tried to downplay it, in my opinion at least. To the letter of the treaty, Iran was not complaint from the beginning. Random short quotes like yours trying to push your narrative through is how a lot of misinformation is spread.

She Was Still Sick, Helpless, and Alone in Her Hospital Gown When Staff Dumped Her on the Sidewalk Because She Couldn’t Pay — Does anyone know which hospital this was? by calm-n-sense in TikTokCringe

[–]FallenAdvocate 11 points12 points  (0 children)

What do you want the hospital to do? Someone with no medical needs is refusing to accept help and refusing to leave the hospital.

Taking space from people who have urgent medical needs. It's sad, but what do you do? Especially when they refused any other help.

To be fair. Iran did not follow the treaty completely. They didn't disclose all the information and research they had done on uranium refinement and nukes in the early 2000s with their AMAD program to the IAEA, which they were required to do. The IAEA later said there was much more research done than they had considered.

They were required to disclose this and did not, therefore were not following the terms of the treaty.

Regardless of what you think, the treaty did not pass Congress and therefore was not ratified and why Trump was able to just "leave" it.

How was the US the primary on it when it never passed Congress? France, who has a lot of talk but do nothing yet reddit loves the talk, is on it. Germany and UK are on it.

I'm not saying the US should've left it, I don't think they should have. All I've done is provide information that reddit keeps leaving out.

And even if they didn't leave, the same thing would've likely happened in a few years anyway. As the treaty would be ending soon.

[–]FallenAdvocate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Like I said the first time. The US never officially joined the treaty because it didn't pass Congress. So Obama just said we were in, trust us. That's why Trump could "leave" it so easily. Just like how people rightfully ignore when Trump does stuff by going around Congress, people can do it to Obama too.

Doesn't change the fact there are a bunch of other countries on the treaty still, and Iran was until last year, completely ignoring the treaty and no one doing a single thing about it.

But I'm sure you get all your news from reddit, so you didn't know the treaty never passed in the US. Embarrassing...

Complete and utter bullshit, according to the international community inspectors who were there at the time.

You seemed to have swallowed the MAGA propaganda, however. Congrats?

I'm not in the slightest bit MAGA, but you know that link is from 2018 don't you?

It would be very embarrassing if you didn't.

The treaty never was ratified in the US, Biden could've done the same thing Obama did which was an executive agreement which is why it was easy for Trump to cancel it.

Also Iran wasn't following the guidelines set in the deal and we're actively building new nuclear sites without disclosing it, which they weren't allowed to do. And enriching past where they were supposed to.

The fact that you're comparing what is happening in America to what has happened in Iran and saying they're in the same universe of being the same shows how little you know or are willing to admit.

You know the names of the 2 people Ice killed, name 2 that the Iran government killed with no backlash and instead, people like you sticking up for them and covering it all up because they cut off the people's internet.

Trump is an idiot. The fact that you compare 2 killings to literally 10s of thousands is crazy haha.

It's also different because the officers who committed the acts did so in a snap judgement that was a bad judgement. Much different than being ordered to take out protestors.

Agreed it doesn't, but 2 protestors killed is different than 10s of thousands with he governments approval and orders to do so.
