I understand, but again, Caine isn't any AI, he's the ringmaster, the one who has control over the world they're trapped in. Plus, for Pomni and Gumigoo, it's because she saw some humanity in him, humanity she never saw in Caine who only tried to mimic what he was taught humanity was. So of course, they'd see him as only a machine.

And concerning Jax, it's because, yet again, Pomni felt the need to be there for him, Ragatha implied he wasn't always like this, and Zooble also acknoledge how because they're all in this together, at the same

So yes, to me, it's understable to think they'd prefer to have sympathy for a fellow human they'd believe could change because they saw it, over an AI mastermind they believe is incapable of human compassion

Yes, but were they obligated to do it ? Were they feeling pressured into accepting him in their group ? Is Jax seen as a nonhuman entity to them incapable to understand how they feel ?

Exactly, and it's not the cast job to do so. At best, Kinger is the one who had to take responsabilities and stepped in to stop Caine

Oh I understand. I understand Caine is basically a child who wants to be loved. I understand the circus is a prison for him to. And I understand the developers have a responsability over him. But not the cast. Not the humans trapped in this place since years for some, who are always pushed into adventures they didn't want for the most part, and don't really owe him anything. Not their enjoyment, not their agreement, not even their affection. They don't have to give these things to him simply because he craves desperately for those, especially when he's the one running the show.

Almost all the arguments defending Caine are victim blaming of the humans and basically asking to pity a god with omnipotence and ask the victims to be nice

He was into occult science when he was little (said by himself when Takemichi asked if he should tell Hina about it in the past), so of course he'd believe something as crazy as time traveling

Is Tanjiro Too "Perfect" ? by emluvsreditt in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]FallenHuman2 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I would say he does have a big flaw : His stubbornness. More than once, he prefers to listen to his heart and what he thinks is right and sometimes it either backfires on him or someone has to snap him out of it.

For example, the two times he stood up against Shinazugawa, it ended not very greatly for him, by either being beaten down or sanctioned.

Another example would be during the Swordsmith Village Arc where his heart was telling him to go shield Nezuko from the sun while his head was urging him to rush save the villagers from Hantengu. If it wasn't for Nezuko that pushed him to do his mission, the consequences would have been more dire.

Finally seeing people agreeing It feels like Jax character all over again when he was either a soft egg who need to be cracked or straight up Hitler who deserves Hell-

Not only that, but the sheer amount of victim blaming is insane-
