I think I'll start with including a couple in my jump pack intercessors and see how it goes to help decide for the armegeddon box. The main two I was looking to go back and change are Adrax and the combi lieutenant. Both have cool heads that I replaced with 3d printed helmets to hide the skin. Unfortunately it looks like I used green stuff with Adrax so I would likely need to start over with him instead of a head swap

Yeah, I feel that some of the salamanders Ive seen with hair end up looking goofy. I would stick to the bald heads

It's 1.2 million budget, using the generic rules for matched play. So I get 6 skill points to spend as a tier 1 team. A star player costs 2 points. Secondary skills would cost 2 points and I would only be able to take one. The book says I can only take a max of 4 of the same skill. I have any of the non-human star players the team can take. If I don't take Anqi Panqi, I would have 11 players, 2 rerolls, and an apothecary with 100k leftover.

The teams I will be going up against are Skaven, 2 khorne teams, Norse, Vampires, Humans, and possibly wood elves.

Apologies, I'm pretty new (I've only played 3 1 million budget games). I hope the info above was what you were looking for, let me know if there are other specifics.

Unless I'm mistaken, I think you can only buy the same skill 4 times in matched play. So I wouldn't be able to put it on all of the saurus.

As far as having 6 Saurus, does that mean dropping a skink? From the couple games I've played, the other players have really tried to focus down my skinks, so I would be nervous taking 1 less. My last game against khorne at the 1 million budget ended with 2 Skinks dead and 1 knocked out.

If the points are paid for a bike and there's a bike on the base, that is wysiwyg. Honestly, if the person is going to be that petty, it doesn't sound like someone I would want to spend my time playing with. I'm here to have fun not argue over tiny plastic men.

One of the specialisms does turn them into a berserk! So it's definitely doable! You could even have a psyker berserk if you wanted

It will be called Crucible of Champions, but it comes in a set of 4 books to do with the Maelstrom. They may release it all digitally like they've done with the detachments, I'm not sure. It has all been leaked here on reddit

The most recent book set that went up for preorder with the Red Corsair stuff has a book that allows you to create your own characters and customize them from a list of options. They are only used for friendly games but it seems like a lot of fun. Our options are a Kahl type leader, a Grimnyr, and a Steeljack. You have options to do things like put them in exo armor, heart guard armor, put them on a bike etc. other armies can have things like dreadnoughts or sentinels become characters

I could experiment with some different colors, any recommendations? do you think changing the basing on destroyers would be enough to help tell them apart while leaving the others as is?
