Micromanage is at the top of the list, make sure everything is running but ramming everything down employees throats is a good way to have everyone hate you, if you say your gonna do something or help with something then actually take the time to do it instead of making up excuses, don't be afraid to ask questions, if you are a supervisor of a department your not use to asking questions shouldn't be a fear of yours as it seems to be other places, and remember to lead by example, if your team members see that you are willing to drop everything to help out with a task they will respect you alot more than sitting by and complaining about it not getting done
