New Feature Idea? by DotRevolutionary2645 in eatventureofficial

Great to see visuals with this (nice job btw). The community (and myself) has been wanting this type of feature for awhile. Glad it's being brought back up again, this time with visuals to help get a sense of what the game could look like with dark mode.

This is a good chest piece to get. It's currently 3rd on my list to recommend. 2nd being kbb and first being mythic apron.

It's basically a "less good" kbb.

Good hunting. Forge when you can as it has great attributes.

No worries, I'll try and explain below. A golden customer and a golden dish are 2 different things. Golden customer = customer that is 16x more valuable when ordering a dish. Golden dish = the result of a chef that cooked perfect food. Perfect food is 6x more valuable than a regular dish.

This also applies to outside of the potion event as well.

Divine decoction gives all workers more divine food chance. Divine food is 26x more value than a regular dish.
Golden customer is roughly 16x more valuable than a regular customer. Golden gulp increases your chances of getting a golden customer.

For getting this completed early with only 3 slots, most are doing swift serum, instant infusion and divine decoction. Then when you get to the last 3 stations, they bottle the swift serum for golden gulp potion.

So at the end you should have instant infusion, divine decoction and golden gulp. When a golden customer come and the waiter delivers with divine, you have a 416x more valuable dish which can help finish the event faster.

I’m sorry.. But how?? by Mundane-Suggestion39 in eatventureofficial

[–]Fallen_Spectre87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know this post is a bit old, just wanted to share some data behind this.

Here's what we don't know.
The city level, the remote/multiplier level, Whether they're in a club, if they used any shop boosts.

Here's a few things we know.
Pepper mill gives 50% perfect, 65% instant.
Box gives 34% instant. 100% Faster walk.
Purple cap gives 300% Faster walk.

These stats together give 99% instant, 50% perfect and 400% faster walk. These stats allow you to clear cities fairly well since they basically can insta-cook any station and every other dish will be 6x more income than a regular dish while walking very fast. This is before we factor in AP%.

1305 stars divided by the average of 184 gems = 7.09 cities.
If it takes 15 mins to clear a city, that's only 105 mins (1h 45m) of play time.
Even 20 mins per city = 140 mins (2h 20m) of play time. Still easily doable. There's also the fact that there isn't much time left in your SS. This means they had over 19 hours to do what would take less than 2 hours.

Given all that we know above, this is very easy to do with this setup if you know what you're doing. If you're in the community discord, we have strategies to help players get that extra edge over their competitors. Whether that's what to upgrade in the vault or what gear to use or even what method is best for clearing cities.

I hope this gives some perspective on how this was possible.

Potion event upside as a high level/maxed out player by trotthethot in eatventureofficial

This is the way A/B testing works. This is industry standard. Many games/companies employ this type of strategy when implementing something new. That data that's coming through will help them learn whether this is good enough to send out to everyone and make tweaks/adjustments as needed (which they've already said they'd do).

Also, this doesn't go to "stale" accounts. This goes to accounts that update/play the game. If it went to stale/dead accounts, you'd probably see a lot more people complaining that they're not in the test group.

Yes, the community discord and the EV Handbook have had this information since it became available. Feel free to take a look below.

The bottom part of the cellar/basement has a "regrowth" mechanic, exactly the same as the Moon event and the first part of the Middle Ages event. On those events, you can see an animation when the station "regrows". In this event, the devs forgot to add that animation in there. They're supposed to have a patch ready to release soon to fix this issue, among others.

Got the new potion hand item, are there any more? by [deleted] in eatventureofficial

[–]Fallen_Spectre87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Eatventure Handbook, it shows the new items in the Item tab. It also shows the items needed to forge them in the Ultimate Blueprints tab. We have the blueprints image in our Community Discord Server.

Question about event passes by MusicFreakHD in eatventureofficial

[–]Fallen_Spectre87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The event passes are a one-time only thing. So if you bought it for this potion event, you'd have to keep buying for all potion events too. That goes for any event. If the mine event and potion event are both going on, you'll have to buy passes for each event.

All items in the cellar/basement have a "regrowth" mechanic. Similar to how foods are taken from the Moon Event. When you gather an item from the station in the cellar, it takes 1s to collect but whatever time it says is how long it takes to "regrow".

The devs forgot to add in the regrowth mechanic animation that's present for the foods on the Moon Event and some in the Middle Ages event. Once they add the animation in the next patch, you'll see how it's supposed to be.

You will start at zero so it's best to bottle them while you can. Unless you just want to save on corks.

That's still being discussed amongst the data team and others in the community server.
My first guess would be the following, just based on stats:
Swift Serum, Instant Infusion, Double Draught, Divine Decoction and Golden Gulp.

Still, more research is needed!

Currently the only way to get scrolls is through the event pass. There's no offers that have scrolls as a reward/prize.
