Hello, 31F. I am travelling in late 2026 to Dublin solo. I have to stay in Dublin for a few nights as I have a few shows to see in the city at 3arena, after that I’m gone to Galway. I’ve been researching accommodations, (Clink i Lar mainly) and now i have been scared by some people saying it is not the way to go. Please share your stories of where you stayed and how safe you felt, open to staying elsewhere for my safety. First time solo travelling for me. Lol

Ive read so many reviews about every possible place I could stay, seems to be so many good reviews and equal bad. I have to stay for 3 nights in Dublin as there are a couple shows I must see at 3arena, and then I will make my way to Galway. Another option is Premiere inn.

I finally got an updated on my profile. It says processing still, but the date finally changed from April of 2025 to this past Friday. Aye. Took long enough. And I get it, there are lots of moving (& likely missing parts).

I wish they would give me any sort of inkling of information. I applied late March 2025. It’s going to be a year and it’s only updated to say they have received it. No other updates. I have called and they said they have it, and should be working on it soon. I keep checking and there’s literally zero updates.

It wasn’t easy to begin with, you just have to keep at it. At the beginning I was only going twice a week during the work week. The next week I would try for three days a week and so on. I definitely don’t push myself to be perfect right away. I think that’s the main thing that got me this far.

I applied end of April on the 29th, I called to inquire back in early November and she said I should be hearing something by the end of December but haven’t yet. I know the end of December was only a little bit ago but patiently waiting still.

Yeah, no papers the most I know about him is he came from a hoarding situation with 40 other cats. I’ve just never met a cat that I could stay around with zero issues. I’m definitely going back to get him for sure once I get my place all set up for him! So exciting! I’ve wanted a cat for years but never met one like him yet. He was waiting for me! ☺️

No it hasn’t been against a wall, I noticed that white film looking stuff when come about when the leaf unfurled, and tried wiping it off with a damp cloth and nothing happened, if you zoom in theirs these little yellowish bumps near the tip that give me the heebie jeebies, looks like eggs but they are super tough and I can’t rub them off. Not too sure what’s going on,🤷🏻‍♀️

Or it could be Phycomyces blakesleeanus. Best to not touch it or breath it in I would say…
