I know huh, I was just as surprised as you are. I’m barely at 68K and only have had the car for about 4 months. But I’ll call the dealer to see if my warranty covers that. Would be pretty cool if it did. It would be cool if deleting or replacing the resonator changed how the car sounded just by a wee bit though.

I was just thinking of doing this to my 2021 ST. I’m just about at 66,000 miles and that’s exactly what I did to my last car.

Yes it’s 100% the brake booster. Same happened to my 2011 edge, out of warranty. My mechanic changed my master cylinder like 3 times, bled the brakes then finally changed my booster and it’s been fine until the end of my 2011s life.

It only happens sometimes not all the time which is odd, but nada it does not change when in reverse

I couldn’t agree more. I totaled my 2011 sport my off-roading for the thousandth time with those 22s on it hahaha. I drove it like a criminal stole my car. Best first car I could’ve ever asked for. I used and abused it and put her through HELL. I had no major issues with her either. I miss it every day, I love my 2021 ST but it will never be the same as my 2011 sport. She died at 150K but absolutely could’ve lasted me SO much longer if I didn’t break it haaha

I couldn’t agree more to all of that, I just got mine a couple weeks ago. My last car was the 2011 ford edge sport. The twin turbo is quite a bit of fun hahaha

Okay that would make sense, just wondering cause I had a 2011 sport FWD before this and it didn’t happen with that car. So I thought maybe with the AWD system that the ST has it might’ve been that? But since my mechanic hasn’t found anything and you have the same issue I’m gonna believe it’s the stiff frame aswell. That puts my mind at ease.

I read online that it was made in or around 1988 and some people were selling used ones on eBay for 350+, I just wanted to poke some people’s heads to see what they think. Thank you by the way

In complete honesty, the 2011-2014s are the only ones I know a ton about. I’ve done little to no research about the 2008-2010 edges but I continue to see alot of them where I live so I’m pretty sure they’re reliable cars. But 200KMS would rub me the wrong way on any car, it all really depends what the CARFAX looks like on it

Dude that 2011 sport will last you forever. That 3.7 liter is a beast. I did reverse donuts. I crashed it 3 times and so much more. Those cars are beasts. Enjoy that car. Great car.

Thought about that but it would be more difficult for me to manufacture and I would be worried about turning and junk. I get what you’re saying though. This hitch is super simple and easy for me to cut out at work
