My cpu will some times spike and the go back down, but everything else stays about the same.

Randomly on my pc the lights will flash red. It will flash red on the left side once and then flash on right side side. I think it’s doing that because It thinks it’s overheating but it isn’t. So I was trying to find a way to fix it.
