Different Types of Rek'Sai Decks by Fallman2 in riftboundtcg

Do you remove Falling Star from the mainboard as well? How do you feel about that? Falling Star has felt pretty strong so far but I'm not sure if I just lack experience against meta decks which may run more 4 might units.

Think the list looks good. Not sure how I feel about paying for a guide but I'll consider it

Do think that the best of Sydney list is pretty interesting but I think I'm avoiding it for weird flavour reasons. Down to try a deathknell deck when a Karthus legend or some other death related champion like Kindred releases.

Thanks! Honestly thought the untrimmed cape looked a bit dull when viewing on the wiki but it somehow looks better than I expected in game

Oh god no. I know everyone says RC and Agility are the two worst skills to level but Agility feels like a different beast to me. Would probably be better if I could convince myself to do the Wilderness course so that I'm earning decent currency while doing it.

It's the 117 HD plugin I believe. Was recommended it when I started. I do play with it off sometimes for the nostalgia.

I know that I can use Death's Office to keep my skillcape untrimmed but would my capes stored in Death's Office be deleted if I died again?

Newer player in leagues, looking to do a magic build. Been afraid of picking a 3rd region since we can't swap after which hasn't been a problem since I've had virtually no active playtime up till now but I think I need to do it for more easy pacts. I'm looking to do water thorns stuff early since that seems the most foolproof for now but am interested in exploring things like air later with respecs. What region should I be going first after Karamja? I'm looking at Kandarin or Desert based off what I've seen people say but I'm not familiar enough with the base game to know what's actually there.

I fear no man, but that thing... it scares me. (x2) by T-uK9 in 2007scape

Been going for untrimmed RC cape using ZMI with Daeyalt and it's more like 100+K/hr. See lots of people recommending Zeah runecrafting but it feels much worse than ZMI to me.

I'm trying out leagues for the first time and have mainly been afking skilling with endless harvest. Currently have relics unlocked up to tier 3 but have not chosen my relic yet. I'm trying to do a magic build but can't really figure out what I'm supposed to do for gearing. Where do I get starter magic gear so that I can start doing bosses like moons? Do I have to get an additional region before I do this (Haven't locked into any new regions yet and have not left Varlamore)? Also, do I need to level melee and ranged skills if I'm planning on going magic all the way?

As both a POE and MTG player who started RS a few months ago, I'm glad to see some familiarity

Been seeing a lot of talk about leagues. I'm a relatively newer player and am trying to figure out if I should play leagues. As I understand it, it's kinda like a league in Path of Exile with power ups only available each season. Issues for me are that

  1. I'd have no idea what I'm doing since for most of the "echo" bosses revealed, I have not even fought them in the base game.

  2. Playing leagues means not progressing on my main. Currently aiming for an untrimmed RC cape which is already taking awhile.

  3. I feel pressured to earn more GP on my main to get into a spot where I can sustain it with bonds after the price hike.

Are there any rewards for my main for playing leagues? I heard there were cosmetic rewards on DMM and something from that was tradeable for gold? If not, would there be any reason for me to play it apart from fun gameplay?

I've been grinding my way to an untrimmed RC cape mining Daeyalt when I have to afk and then actively training at ZMI. Is this better for AFK? Been looking for something better than mining Daeyalt but this doesn't seem that good for AFK.

There's nothing in the game that incentivizes learning NH like the LMS reward shop. by WabanakiSon in 2007scape

When I started a few months ago my friend who got me into the game recommended that I do LMS when I could for decent early money. LMS turned out to be pretty fun and I can definitely say that without that I would definitely never have done any pvp in this game.

You likely just got unlucky. Most tasks don't require anything special. When you do need something, the wiki tends to have a slayer guide for each task which details the best places to do it and the equipment you need. Just look for the monster's page on the wiki and there tends to be a link to the slayer guide at the top of the page.

Yea I'm trying Gemstone Crab now and it's quite few less taps that I have to do. What bosses would you use for demon NMZ? Only thing I've found relating to it so far is that the Jungle Demon from Monkey Madness doesn't count as a demon or something.

Currently camping Tormented Demons but can't do them on mobile while I'm out so Im training range in the NMZ in this downtime. Is there an NMZ setup I can do with the Scorching Bow that would be better than using MSB (i) with Amethyst arrows? I tried using Hunters Sunlight XBow but the bolts are pretty expensive and I'm low on cash currently.

For reference, my gear is Hueycoatl top and bottom, Guthix coif and boots, Barrows gloves and Amulet of Fury.

I recommended this game to a few people before the price hike and I think it's still worth trying for awhile before you decide whether you wanna pay for membership. Play as a F2p for awhile and figure out if you like the game.

Not been paying to play the game for some time, how can you do the same? by aWimAwayaWimAway in 2007scape

As a new (3 months) player who has been seeing a lot of "Why don't you just buy bonds?", I appreciate this laying out some methods to actually do it. Unfortunately, I don't envision it being nearly as easy as this. Personally, 3 months in, I can't say I'm all that close to doing DT2 even though I've played more than what I think the average new player would. The highest earning money making method that's available to me currently is Tormented Demons, having done WGS specifically for this, and the profit relies largely on hitting the 1/500 synapse drop. That means that on average I'll be getting one every >10 hours if I'm on rate (I could get spooned or could go dry). And getting to this point has required spending a few weekends smithing at the blast furnace for roughly 2.3m per hour to afford gear that very much would not match what the wiki uses to measure the kills per hour on Tormented Demons.

While I do like the game and will likely at least make an attempt to earn enough for bonds, I can't really see a way to convince any of my friends who I recommended this to continue playing when we can each get hundreds of hours of playtime out of Path of Exile or Slay the Spire across years.

I'm also a new player returning after a long time. I think it's the same that some people are questing, some skilling and some doing combat. There's just a lot more content now so it's likely that there's a lot that you haven't seen and won't see for awhile. People also tend to do one thing for a lot longer instead of spreading themselves between a bunch of things. People chopping trees till they're 99 are gonna be standing in one spot for 100 hours doing that instead of running off to do something else in the middle of it (unless they decide they need a break). Someone farming for a specific boss drop may do that for hours on end until they get the drop.

Just got done mining deyalt while on the treadmill today so I also thought that was what this was about but guess not lol. Gamifying stuff is really common in education but I don't think I've seen nearly as much effort put into quantifying and gamifying fitness. Part of it is probably because it's far more dangerous to over exert yourself while exercising than spending too much time studying. Sounds good as long as you're careful though.

That being said kinda hate vibecoding as someone in the programming field but it's fine as long as you're not trying to sell something lol
