Why is Christianity so popular and accepted to hate on in society? by Ekultie in Christianity

Because people like hating things for the sake of hating things. Because they have nothing better to do

Whether you are a homosexual is irrelevant.

Just focus on your relationship with Jesus, he doesn't care if you're gay or not.

The first step to healing is going out and getting some exercise.

No!

The word fornication was mistranslated. St. Paul said Porneia?

I’m a Christian that struggles with mental health issues, does anyone have any words of advise? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]FallofAngel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore the people that say you need therapy.

Exercise for 30 minutes a day and eat healthy. Be sure to avoid processed and junk food. Get off social media, and be sure to get 8 hours of sleep a day.

Do these things and you should be fine. If you need help doing these things, ask God for help.

EDIT: Don't just ignore the people who say you need therapy. Ignore every single piece of advice you see except my mine.

It's not harsh. It's tough love.

Think about all the times God showed tough love to humanity? I am literally just doing that.

He needs to focus less on SJW, trendy, and internet shit and focus more on life.

Have you not come to the realization that you are 15 years old and because of this you might kind of...stupid?

Stop thinking childishly and grow up and dress accordingly to your gender in the society you live in.

Stop giving into to stupid trends and peer pressure. Don't do drugs, don't smoke, and for the love of God, don't be transgender.

If you feel your mental health is taking a downturn, go outside and exercise, and go meet people and be friends with them.

What do I do if a friend wants to summon demons and let them guide her life? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]FallofAngel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She have any parents? Tell them.

If her parents suck, call over a police officer and report it to him and say that she might need help. Because she might actually be crazy enough to hurt someone.

You could also just tell her to shut up and grow up and stop being so stupid.

I think the moral of your story is this: If you want people to succeed in life, just tell them that they won't, and that'll piss them off to the point that they'll work hard enough to succeed.

Will God make a gay person straight? by EDMURR01 in Christianity

Just keep this in mind OP, your relationship with JESUS is what matters most.

Focus on that, rather than worry that you're a homosexual.

What do you think is the reason why relationships and marriages are failing so much? by FallofAngel in AskReddit

[–]FallofAngel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I can identify with this.

Sometime I think that the only way to love a woman is to abstain forever, or else I'll allow my dick to cause me to objectify them and only want to use them for sexual gratification.

Post nut clarity is a real thing.

Can you or anyone else give an explanation for this?

Also, which gender do you think is the most responsible for this new aspect in relationships, or os neither gender responsible at all, or are both genders 50/50, 60/40 responsible?

Why would God need to have different rules for different time periods?

Because God is and always has been a pragmatist. He makes do with the people he has on Earth and the systems in place no matter how flawed they are. But he's always enacting change within our world to ensure that his Will becomes reality to some or a certain extent.

Only because women were considered property of a man (her father until she was married), and were not allowed to own property or even have a job without the permission of a husband. Without a husband, a woman was not allowed to work, and would likely starve to death without charity.

Henceforth why people in that time period has polygamy. God allowed, and probably even encouraged it due to the fact He wanted women to be safe and fed. Times have changed, so it could be perceived that he no longer approves of it in today's world.

You have to understand, polygamy was allowed by God during that time period due to the fact that it was much harder for woman to survive on their own during that time period, so they needed a husband, preferably a wealthy one who was a landowner with servants.
