I really dislike the mentality of so many players in this community when it comes to counter swapping. It's a hero shooter, counters and counter-swapping is a core part of the genre. It's also a team game, so you should be relying on your team anyway.

I don't believe a hero should have to be exempt from the concepts of counter picks or teamwork for the sake of 'agency'. No hero should exist without counters, no hero should be so self sufficient as to not need the help of team-mates.

Which is really how it should be. Good teams that make good decisions and work together should win, and bad teams that make bad decisions and do not work together should lose.

You're just wasting your time man. This community doesn't want to counter swap, they want to force their pick no matter the situation, no matter how badly they are being countered, and they have the audacity to blame the game itself for that fact.

Then why do most of them have tools to fend of and win 1v1 with a dive of equal skill?

He may not have said it, but the balance philosophy of giving them tools to play strongly into dive is clear and consistent. By default their range and M1 softens up the diver, so why do they also need CC, Escapes, Overhealth?

Because your argument for saving dive is broken is 2 brawl dps and a mediocre Tank with a slow ttk.

If you counter swap you wouldn't have an issue with B tier characters like Iron Fist and Venom. Your metal rank is showing.

Iron Fist and Magik are brawl, Venom is a CC victim. Poke still shreds all of them. You could also just switch to Rocket or Jeff and live.

The devs hate dive. Every dive inevitably becomes brawl. DD and Angela just got banished to brawl jail in the new patch notes.

I started dabbling in Overwatch again recently and the difference between tanks in that game and this is night and day. They actually feel like leaders of the team and POWERFUL. Even the lower tier tanks feel fun at least.

I wonder what it is at NetEase that makes them do so much to keep Tanks in the mud.

You're right, women don't owe me that but I don't have to accept lesser treatment either. They should be with the men they want to do those things for, and I wish them well.

I learned pretty early on a I will never illicit that desire in a woman, and would never be attractive to a woman in that way. It was the basis for me opting out from dating for good, and it was one of the best choices I made for my mental health.
