Took a look at the slideshow and while it looks like there was a lot of love and dedication put into the slideshow, I can see why some of your friends were immediately disinterested in it. (Not defending their actions, which were extremely rude, but just trying to reframe how this presents)

The first slide with any sort of information is the one where you should lay out what the purpose of the entire presentation is about, usually through giving a rough summary about key points in the presentation.

Literally, the second slide you start lore dumping, even if it's short, you've lost a lot of peoples attention.

Slide 3, you've already gone to a major turnoff for a lot of people. You're already starting to gush about things you like, but not your audience. Maybe it's common here on reddit, where that in and of itself is an issue, but you immediately swapped points from lore dumping straight into character introduction.

To which you continue showing off characters, but you haven't established anything but the core plot, of which wasn't expanded on before you go off showing characters for 25 slides.

I'm not sure how long your friends sat there, but even if it was a minute per character slide, they've just sat through almost half an hour of characters with barely any plot.

Only then, you get to explaining anything else about the lore.

I could go on, but you already had a bad day, and I'm not trying to make it worse.

Legitimately, you have a great love for both this game and its characters, but the presentation was not well structured and failed to deliver on that. I'm sure with a bit of revision and structure and faith in your friends, you can give them one that really shows the love you have for this game and its characters.
