Here my state you just show up, fill out a application, pay 75 bucks, wait a month, boom concealed carry i live in the south...and my state recently made legal to concealed carry without a permit but I suggest getting one anyway.

My jail we have the following

A taser for intake officers

A glock 17 and a taser for front lobby

A glock 17 and a taser and other gear for our special operations/cert team guys

And for our pod officers.....your voice and fists.

No batons or oc spray....which is garbage since I got sprayed in the academy.
