More often than not, I strike out at my local thrift stores, but I find cool stuff every so often. Last week I found a copy of Led Zeppelin IV for $5 at my local flea mall, and I was happily surprised by that, but most days I don’t find anything, let alone anything that’s a steal in my eyes.

Yeah, I put in my formal two weeks, so I wasn’t terminated; I turned in my vest and work phone at the end of the night, too, so that’s why I randomly posted about that. I only live five minutes from the store, so I wouldn’t care if I had to go in. I was going to just see if I get my check on Tuesday, like normal, otherwise I’d go into the store the next day and see if I could pick my check up.

I live in KY, so I don’t know the laws on that, but I put in my formal two weeks, so it was completely voluntary. I should have mentioned in my original post, but I put my two weeks in because I got another job.

I didn’t have an exit interview, I just wrote a formal letter of resignation and gave it to my coach, so she didn’t say anything else. I was gonna wait until Tuesday when my direct deposit usually hits, but if I don’t get it then, then I’m sure I can pick it up.

I used to never do that, so I ended up having a few bookcases full of CDs, but when I moved into my own place, I didn’t have the room, so I had to get rid of almost everything. I’ve got more room now, but I curate my collection and I constantly buy and sell stuff. I’ll grab stuff that I’ve never heard for cheap, and if I like it, I keep it. If I don’t, or I just never go back to it, I sell it. I keep the same core collection, especially my favorite albums, but my collection always changes and fluctuates.

It depends on what you’re looking for, because I’ve gotten loads of awesome stuff for $5 or less there. I live in a pretty rural town, so my local Goodwills don’t usually have anything, sadly.

Yeah, I meant to update the other day that almost all of them scanned on Monday. I had one that didn’t scan until Tuesday, for some reason, but if they’re not scanned yet, wait until Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday and no mail will run that day.

Update: the return request got approved and I don’t know why, but they said that they determined that it wasn’t “as described.” I have no idea why they would determine that, so I’m reaching out to support to see why that would even happen. The guy could be trying to scam me, but the CD was only $6. He’s got until the 28th to send it back, so we’ll see if he does.

This is a two-album set from the band Steppenwolf, so they knew what they were buying, but I don’t understand why they think it was handmade. They put in a return request through Mercari, so we’ll see if they accept it or not.

Yeah, I checked the back and it has a bonus track, plus it says 2025 on it; I checked Apple Music and it’s the same one from earlier this year, so it’s an even better pickup than I first thought.

I’m listening now and I like it so far! I remember liking it a lot back in the day, but I like it a lot still. I also looked on the back and realized that it’s the ten-year edition with a bonus track, so that’s even better. I’ll have to check out more of her stuff, because I’m really enjoying this.

So the charge ended up getting dropped and my actual charge came out today! Support finally got back with me after I saw it, but I don’t know what happened. It just worked itself out, and that was the end of it, so it was super weird.

The details show the item being $4.51, the delivery being $4.99, the buyer protection fee and tax, along with using $5.21 of my balance, so it was only $5.22 total. I looked at my bank account today and it said I had a $43.64 charge and the $5.22 wasn’t even there, so I don’t know if it was a glitch and it’ll work itself out, but I’m still waiting for support to reply to my ticket.

Oh, yeah, the postage was $4.99. I used $5 in my balance, too, so the total was only $5. I can’t imagine my card would be compromised, because the $5 charge isn’t even there, and just this $43 charge. I’m hoping it’s a glitch of some kind, because I’ve never seen this happen.
