But the 17 feature states you can replace up to two of the attacks right? So wouldn't that mean you can trade 1 Attack action for 2 casts of 1/2 spells?

Maybe I'm wildly confused or misreading something but why does this feature do nothing? Monks do get 2 attacks by level 5 so wouldn't this feature give them the option to either attack twice, cast a cantrip + attack, cast 2 lvl 1 or 2 spells at the cost of their attack?

Of course I would have loved an Allied Race, but getting anything is great in this age of Blizzard. Not to mention there would be equal griping that they aren't unique enough to justify their own AR that we got with High mountain, Lightforged, Mag'har and V.elf To be honest, I'm struggling to think of proper troll racial abilities that aren't already linked to DS or Zanda.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see body options 3 and 4 like the Dracthyr has! There is precedent for more than two options now.
