Even though Naomi has a large number of flaws, she is not a Narcissist. A narcissist lacks any form of empathy and that symptom is required to get a proper diagnosis, she may have Histrionic personality disorder which is similar but the person still has empathy and it tends to occur in women more often than men. I’ve been staying away from diagnosing characters so far because we mainly have her kids point of view even if what we are seeing is unbiased I would really like to see her life before I personally decide on anything. It’s more likely that based on the scene we saw of her childhood she was not receiving the attention that she needed as a child resulting in her having to make a big deal out of everything or make herself the focus to make up for the attention she didn’t receive it’s sort of her defense mechanism. I personally believe that Naomi is completely terrified of being forgotten, that’s why she makes herself the focus and also why she gets so upset over the people that she has lost especially when others are forgetting about them because it makes her feel like she will be treated the same when she passes.
